Anita Hassanandani Reddy is a famous face in the television industry whose acting skills have won the hearts of the audience. It was her role in the series, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, which grabbed a lot of attention. Although, she played the role of a negative character, her acting skills were top-notch, and she became a household name. Apart from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Anita was seen in numerous series, Hindi, and regional films. In her personal life, she is married to Rohit Reddy, and they are parents to a son. Recently, Anita talked about a horrific incident that took place in her school days.
In an interview with Hauterrfly, Anita Hassanandani talked about an eye-teasing incident. It has always been an issue for women to experience several unsettling incidents in their childhood. Well, Anita was no exception. The actress shared that she and her friends would go to school by rickshaw, and come back home by walking on foot, thereby saving Rs. 10 to have a little treat for themselves. Well, the actress revealed that on their way home, there used to be a man who used to stand there, and he acted in an unacceptable manner. Anita said:

"When we were in school, mom used to give us 10 rupees to go in a rickshaw and while coming back, we used to come back walking. We would save that money to have samosa or something in the canteen. When we would come walking, there would be this rickshaw guy and it wasn't like once a week or every day."
Anita shared that the man used to stand in the same place, and used remove his pants and touch himself while giving her and her friends unsettling looks. She shared how the incident gave them fear, and they tried to change the route after such a thing happened. Anita added that despite changing the route, there had been a sense of fear, and that man had a rickshaw and he knew each of the routes of that girls' school. The actress further explained the need to be on high alert as if in Bombay, such an incident can happen; it can take place anywhere around. Talking about how they were scared, Anita mentioned:
"He knew the way and he also had a rickshaw, so we would get scared whenever there was a rickshaw around the school."
In the same interview, Anita Hassanandani talked about her past relationship with Eijaz Khan. The actress shared how she went against her mom's will to be with her ex-beau, but eventually their relationship ended. She also revealed that she was being changed by that person for the sake of love, which she regrets the most now. The actress also shared three red flags in her past relationship. She said that one should always check their partner's phone, and should never change for the other. Anita also hinted that she was being separated from her family and friends while being in her past relationship, which she tagged as a red flag.
After breaking up with Eijaz Khan in 2007, Anita met the love of her life, Rohit Reddy. The duo tied the knot in 2013, after dating for a few years. It was back in 2021, when Anita gave birth to her son.
