Satish Chandra Kaushik, best known as Satish Kaushik was a name that needs no introduction. An institution of talent, Satish won the hearts of millions with his comic roles. An alumnus of the National School of Drama and Film and Television Institute of India, Satish was an actor, screenwriter, director and producer. It was on March 9, 2023, when the veteran actor bid adieu to the world and his loved ones after suffering a heart attack.
On Satish Kaushik’s birth anniversary, his loved ones remembered him with tears in their eyes. One of them was actor, Anil Kapoor, who took to his IG handle and shared a video, which featured some of the unseen memories of the duo. Anil, who shared a warm friendship with Satish had started his career with him. Not just this, apart from being a co-star, Anil had starred in some of the popular films directed by Satish.

In the video, Anil shared glimpses from their early days in Bollywood to some iconic movie scenes starring the two, Anil relived some of their precious memories. Along with the video, Anil penned an emotional note for his late friend, which can be read as:
“While I sit here trying to find the right words or just any words really to express what I feel right now…I want to fill books telling you what you mean to me but I know you already knew that…in the 3 mins of this video, I relived so many of our memories.”

The Mr India actor also expressed how he wished they had more time together and concluded his note as:
I wish we had more time…I wish I could call you and tell you just one more time how lucky I am to have you in my life….I miss you beyond words Satish…I pray that everyone has a friend like you in their life because you were a true blessing…Happy Birthday my friend…”

With films like Mr India, Deewana Mastana, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, and Udta Punjab, among others, Satish proved his versatility as an actor. For the unversed, the late actor passed away in the wee hours of the morning on March 9, 2023, at the age of 66. Satish reportedly suffered a heart attack while travelling in a car in Delhi.
