In an official statement in the media, Samer Hakky said, "I mourn my wife, my lover, my cherished one, and my life partner, who left me heartbroken after her departure and left me with an endless void". Before Samer Hakky's statement, it was Angy Morad's mother, Annie Orfalla, is the one, who confirmed the news of her daughter's demise.

The heartbroken mother shared details about her daughter's untimely death with a heavy heart in the media. Opening up about the same, Angy Morad's mother, Annie Orfalla, shared details related to her daughter's death. The doting mother revealed that she was experiencing inflammation in her body, so doctors advised her to do some tests in Lebanon. However, no virus was detected in the tests, but doctors reportedly advised her to take some medicines.

Angy Morad didn't take those medicines, and within days, a minor infection developed in her body that soon changed into a severe infection. Angy Morad's mother said, "My daughter only had inflammation and underwent tests in Lebanon, there was no virus, but she was afraid to take the medicine. This developed into a severe infection, and she neglected her health." Some media reports also suggest that Angy Morad didn't properly care for her health and underestimated the infection.

As per multiple reports, Angy Morad was fighting against pneumonia while she was pregnant. Due to the infection caused by pneumonia, Andy Morad suffered from severe lung complications that deteriorated her health rapidly. The actress was treated in ICU, but despite doctors' best efforts, they couldn't save her from death.

She worked as an actress in the entertainment industry for some time, and two of her most popular shows are Al-Gharib and Baqaa Daw 13. The actress took a break from acting for some years and made a stellar comeback in 2025 with the show, Souq Al Haramia.

However, the biggest highlight of Angy Morad's life and the moment that made her a recognised name across the globe was when she won the Miss Asia World title in 2017. The model received worldwide appreciation for winning such a prestigious title and putting Syria on the global stage. Angy Morad is survived by her husband, Samer Hakky and their four-year-old daughter.
