Now, in a recent interview, Aneet spoke her heart out and shared about her early struggles, including secretly giving auditions.
After Saiyaara’s grand success, Aneet has become an overnight sensation. However, her early life was filled with struggles as her parents didn’t have the money to take her to Mumbai for auditions. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Aneet shared how she had to record the auditions at home secretly. She was asked about whose opinions truly affect her. In response, Aneet mentioned her family. She was quoted as saying:
"I always wanted to act. I would record auditions and lock my door, telling my parents I was doing homework. I knew I'd have to do this on my own because my parents didn't have enough money to take me to Mumbai to audition. My mom, my dad, my friends, that's what matters. Anyone else, I really don’t care."
Aneet Padda was born on October 14, 2002, in Amritsar, Punjab. She completed her schooling at Spring Dale Senior School. Later, she completed her degree in Humanities at the prestigious Jesus and Mary College (JMC) of the University of Delhi. Before making her acting debut, Aneet also appeared in TV commercials.

In 2022, she made her debut with a small role in the Hindi film, Salaam Venky, co-starring Kajol. Although, she got a brief role in the movie, it earned her wide critical recognition.
In 2024, she appeared in a lead role in the TV series, Big Girls Don’t Cry. However, she made her breakthrough with Mohit Suri’s latest film, Saiyaara, opposite Ahaan Panday. She reportedly earned Rs. 3-5 crore for the romantic film.
