The casting changes in No Entry 2 led to tension between Boney Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. The director of the original film, Anees Bazmee, sat down for an interview with Lehren Retro and gave his views on the situation. He recalled that Anil Kapoor was deeply involved in the 2005 film, which was more than his acting part. So, Anees feels it's natural for Anil to be upset over not being a part of its sequel. But he doesn't intend to intervene between the two brothers. He was quoted as saying:

“As far as I know, the two brothers have immense love for each other. Inke beech ki jo narazgi hai woh kuch dino ki ho sakti hai Mujhe lagta hai yeh dono aapas mein nipat lenge aur aapas mein baat cheet karlenge, mujhe indono se baat karne ki koi zarurat nahin hai. Inko kisi aur ki zarurat nahin hai.”

Boney Kapoor had revealed that Anil Kapoor was a little upset with him over the No Entry sequel

Boney Kapoor is one of the most renowned film producers in the industry and has worked with his brother, Anil Kapoor, on various projects like Mr India, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, and Judaai. In an interview with Zoom, he revealed that Anil Kapoor was keen on being a part of No Entry and not being approached for it's sequel left him upset. But he believed that it wasn't that serious and that they could overcome it. He said:

“He [Anil Kapoor] is a little upset with me because ‘No Entry’ has been launched without him. He was very keen to be in it. Before I could tell him anything, the news was leaked. That’s my misfortune. I wanted to explain it to him but somewhere he was very keen that he has to be a part of it. I understand why because this is a franchise he has worked on and maybe he will understand with time."
