Andy Bryon And Megan Kerrigan Are NOT Getting A Divorce, Source Says, 'There Was No Affair...'

Astronomer's former CEO, Andy Byron, made headlines after a clip of him from the Coldplay concert went viral in July 2025. The entrepreneur was caught in a cosy embrace with his former HR head, Kristin Cabot, which sparked allegations around the two having an affair. For the uninitiated, Andy was married to Megan Kerrigan Byron at the time, while Kristin was married to Andrew Cabot. While the entire internet has been watching what the trio has to say for months, it seems that Megan might have forgiven Andy.

Megan Kerrigan forgive Andy Byron for the Coldplay 'kiss cam' fiasco?

Andy Byron might have patched things up with his wife, Megan Kerrigan, months after the former was caught canoodling with his chief people officer at a Coldplay concert on July 16, 2025. The video that became the biggest meme of 2025 damaged two families and their careers. However, it seems like the former Astronomer CEO might have been able to salvage his relationship. 

According to a report by the Daily Mail, Andy Byron and Megan Kerrigan were photographed over the weekend in September 2025. Months after the 'kiss cam' video went viral on social media, the couple was spotted leaving their USD 2.4 million mansion in Kennebunk, Maine, where Megan has been living since the controversy broke. Andy and Megan were seen wearing their wedding bands as they strolled hand in hand toward a local beach, reportedly for a cosy sunset picnic.

This marked the couple's first sighting since the entire scandal. However, it suggests that the pair may have moved past one of the most talked-about moments in 2025. Additionally a soruce shared with PEOPLE that what happened with Andy and Kristin was extremely unfair as the duo was just friends and there was no affair. They were quoted as saying:

"Kristin and Andy had an excellent working relationship, a great friendship. There was no affair. It was inappropriate to be hugging your boss at a concert, and she accepts full responsibility for it, but the scandal, the downfall, the loss of the job — all of that is unfair."

Andy Byron had to step down from his position as the CEO

Astronomer had issued a statement on July 19, 2025 (IST), revealing that the CEO, Andy Byron, had been placed on leave until the investigation was completed. They shared that the Co-founder and Chief Product Officer, Pete DeJoy, will assume the responsibilities of the interim CEO until further notice. The company also assured the people that it would share further updates as deemed appropriate in the coming days. However, soon after, reports revealed that Andy had stepped down from his position permanently, in the wake of a highly publicised incident. 

The 'Kiss Cam' scandal

It was on July 16, 2025, when Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot were attending the Coldplay concert in Boston. The duo had been snuggling and enjoying the music when suddenly the kiss cam focused on them. Instinctively, Andy and Kristin dug the cameras and snuck out of the scene. However, the video soon went viral, as Coldplay's frontman was heard saying:

"Either they are having an affair or really shy."

Little did Chris Martin know that he had indeed spotted Andy and Kristin having an affair. Soon, eagle-eyed netizens dug into the matter and discovered that Andy is married to Megan Kerrigan, who resides in New York with their two children. So far, both Kristin and Andy have resigned from their respective roles, and Kristin has also applied for divorce from her husband, Andrew, in August 2025.
