Ananya Panday REACTS To Accusation Of Butt-Surgery: 'Growing Up.. Now..She Has Got Her Butt Done..'

Ananya Panday has made a strong place for herself in Bollywood, despite the criticism and trolling for being a nepo-kid. The actress has seen her share of highs and lows. Despite this, she kept posing, shooting and attending events dressed to the nines, and six years later, Ananya still gets trolled for her physical appearance. A while ago, she was accused of getting a butt surgery. The actress opened up on the same!

Ananya Panday clapped back at trolls for accusing her of butt-surgery

Recently, Ananya Panday appeared on Lilly Singh's podcast, Shame Less With Lilly Singh. The actress talked about being made fun of her appearance and talked about how people body-shamed her. Ananya stated that she has faced the same criticism throughout her life and even after entering the industry. Ananya said:

"I feel like you can never win. I was 18 or 19 when I started out, and I was really skinny. Everyone used to kind of make fun about that. They were like, 'Oh, you have chicken legs. You look like a matchstick. You are like a flat-screen TV. You don’t have tits. You don’t have an ass.' So that was what it was first."

The 25-year-old also talked about the rumours that she received surgery for her butts. Ananya also added that no matter what size or shape you are people would constantly have something to day. She was quoted as saying:

"Now that I am growing up and kind of just naturally my body is filling up. They were like, 'Oh, there's no way, she got her butt done and she had done this.' It’s constantly like... anything you do. No matter what shape you are, no matter what size you are. People will constantly have something to say and criticise especially with women. I don’t feel like they do that to men at all. The hate that comes towards women is a lot more."

When Ananya talked about facing body-shaming issues

Ananya Panday appeared in an episode of In The Ring With Filmfare, wherein she talked about facing body-shaming from a young age. She shared when she was in school, she would get teased and called 'flat-screen'. She shared: 

"When I was younger, I would get teased by some in school that 'you are a flat screen.' I was like, this is only happening to me. Why are they only saying this to me? There is something wrong with me. Growing up, talking to more girls around me, I felt that it was not just me. I felt if I speak about it, it will make someone feel less alone."
