After many failed attempts to impress the audience, she finally got her breakthrough in the 2023 coming-of-age film, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. At present, Ananya is busy with the shoot for her debut web series, Call Me Bae.
Amidst her busy schedule, Ananya took some time off to surprise her 24.6 million Instagram followers with some unseen throwback pictures. In the carousel of pictures, the actress was seen donning bold bikinis and a backless striped dress. The post also featured a slide of her Polaroid shots in some glitzy partywear. Ananya was also seen posing in front of a board which read “Famous for no reason.” In the last slide, the actress was seen holding a breadstick like a cigarette. Clarifying that she wasn’t smoking in the last picture, Ananya captioned her post as:
“Forgotten photos from my camera roll (the last pic is a breadstick and it’s meant to be a cute pic pls calm down).”

Some compared the actress with her character ‘Ahana’ in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, who after breaking up with her boyfriend, starts changing herself. Others just could not get over Ananya’s bold pictures. Ananya Panday was reportedly dating the handsome Bollywood hunk, Aditya Roy Kapur for quite some time. However, a few days back, reports surfaced in the media claiming that Ananya and Aditya parted ways cordially in March 2024. A source close to the former couple has confirmed the same to the Bombay Times and said:
“They broke up almost a month ago. They were going quite well, and the breakup came as a shock to all of us. They are cordial with each other. Ananya is trying to move on; of course, there’s hurt. She is spending time with her new furry friend. Aditya is also trying to deal with the situation maturely.”
Amidst the breakup rumours, Aditya was seen partying with Ananya’s good friend, Sara Ali Khan. The viral photos are allegedly from Anurag Basu’s birthday bash on the sets of their upcoming film, Metro In Dino. The two were seen having a good time at the party and were also seen standing next to each other.
