Ananya Panday is one of the most well-known actresses from the present generation. She is known for her beauty, humour, and unfiltered attitude. As one of the most popular star kids in the industry, she was often trolled by netizens. But with time, people began to appreciate her honest interviews. Also, she proved her mettle as an actress with her last film, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. Ananya's personal and professional life has always been a subject of interest on the internet, and recently, one of her old interviews went viral, and she opened up about being bullied during her school days.
Receiving negative comments or criticism about one's body shape or appearance can affect people's self-esteem and dishearten them. Despite this, body shaming has become a common issue in our society. In one of her previous interviews with She The People, Ananya opened up about her experience of being body-shamed in school. The actress said she was teased by some people in school who called her 'flat screen' which affected her. She used to wonder if it only happened to her and if something was wrong with her. However, as Ananya grew up and shared the incident with other girls, she realised she wasn't alone in facing such issues. Ananya added that talking about those experiences can help others facing the same thing to feel that they aren't alone. At the same time, it can strengthen and help them better deal with it. She was quoted as saying:
