Malaika Arora’s reality show, Moving In With Malaika, has been topping the viewership charts, and it is being applauded by fans and critics alike. From spilling her secrets to talking about her insecurities and facing her demons, Malaika has been sharing the lesser-known details about her personal life. Recently, the diva also tried her luck on stand-up comedy and proved that she's a pro at everything.
In the latest episode of Moving In With Malaika, Malaika Arora’s son, Arhaan Khan and her mother, Joyce Polycarp, joined her for a homecoming lunch. It was lovely to see the trio bond over the meal. However, Malaika's sister, Amrita Arora made an impromptu entry into her house, leaving her stunned. Malaika welcomed her sister with open arms and said that she didn't invite her for lunch as she always has excuses. Then the family started discussing their Christmas plans.

However, things turned upside down when Amrita Arora lashed at Malaika for trolling her in her standup comedy act. She got upset with her sister for not being a little more considerate about the jokes that she cracked on her. Amrita also mentioned that though she didn't say anything before, Malaika should have asked her if she was okay with the jokes. Talking about the same, she said:
"I didn't say anything on that day. In the standup, you could have been a little more considerate about the jokes you cracked on me all the time. About me wearing big-sized clothes, about indirectly not doing anything, that was something you could have just called me up and asked me if I was okay with it."
Malaika was shocked to hear the words coming out of her sister, Amrita's mouth and interrupted her by saying that it was how a stand-up takes place. To which, Amrita asked her if Malaika could throw anyone under the bus for the sake of stand-up and added that she should have asked her first. In her words:
"So at a stand-up, you can throw anyone under the bus? I can call out five instances that you did. As great as it was and you were fantastic and all of the others. I let you have your moment, and I let it all sink in. Today we are meeting for lunch after the last time I saw you. I just feel there are certain things that you have to really ask people and run it by them."

In her defence, Malaika said, “It was a standup act. And the other day you were all okay and saying fab fab fab!" However, Amrita looked quite unhappy with Malaika's attitude and said that her jokes were a bit too much. She was heard saying:
"Why was only Ammu thrown under the bus? Somewhere it had some connection to me. As much as I appreciate it, fine, it's okay, I'm up for any kind of landing of jokes, but it was a bit much. That's all I'm saying."
For the unversed, during her stand-up act, Malaika spoke about her sister, Amrita, who was sitting in the audience, and took a dig at her life choices. Calling her sister the funny one, Malaika had said that Amrita has a rich husband and she wears oversized clothes. For the uninitiated, Amrita Arora is married to businessman, Shakeel Ladak, and they are proud parents to two children, Rayaan Ladak and Azaan Ladak.
