As per several reports, Anil Arora jumped off from the 6th floor of his building on September 11, 2024. The entire industry is shaken by the news of Anil Arora's demise, and famous faces from the Hindi film industry came to his home to offer condolences. Malaika, who reportedly was in Pune, rushed to her parents' home, Amrita Arora, too, arrived while crying inconsolably. A day before this incident took place, both the sisters visited their parents at their residence, and the videos are now going viral.

On September 10, 2024, Malaika Arora was papped outside her parents' residence with her pet, Casper. Amrita Arora was also spotted. She looked up the balcony and bid bye to her family members as she left her parents' house. Surely, they didn't expect things would turn upside down only within a day.

In this crucial time, a report mentioned that Anil Arora was going through depression and mental health issues. If the reports are to be believed, he also was admitted to the hospital back in 2023, for some unknown reasons. After his demise, a close source revealed that Anil Arora never showed any signs of depression, was always jovial, and doted on his daughters, Amrita and Malaika. The source shared this incident to be shocking for the family, as no one had any idea about this and the situations that could have led Anil Arora to commit suicide. The source added:
"They never saw this coming. Malaika’s father never showed any signs of depression. He was always jovial, always smiling and laughing, and he doted on his daughters (Malaika, Amrita). There was never any sign of depression. Nobody in the family has any clue why he did what he did.”
As soon as the shocking news of Malaika's father's demise broke out, Arbaaz Khan reached his residence. Not only him but also the Khan family could be spotted, which proves their love for Malaika, who was once a member of the family. Arjun Kapoor, too, arrived at Anil Arora's home and looked devastated. He was seen greeting the guests who came to support Malaika in this testing time.
