Amol Parashar is a name which immediately comes to our mind when we speak about some of the most versatile actors in our country. The actor has delivered a number of outstanding films including, Rocket Singh: Salesman Of The Year, Mili, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare, Sardar Udham and more. Off lately, the actor grabbed headlines over rumours of his alleged relationship with his co-star, Konkona Sen Sharma. However, despite the buzz, none of them have ever commented on the same.
In an interview with ETimes, Amol Parashar opened up about his personal life. The actor was asked the reason due to which he chose not to make his relationship official anytime soon. While he didn’t take the name of his partner and maintained her anonymity, Amol explained that he hasn’t yet found a good reason to make it official either. He further emphasised keeping intact the sanctity of his relationships. In his words:

“Nothing is stopping me. I have found no good reason to put it out there. And there is a sort of sanctity to actual real relationships. It feels a little more real. Also, what will I get out of it?”

Speaking along the same lines, Amol then mentioned that at the very core of it, he doesn’t wish to utilise his relationship status for PR and media attention. He revealed how many PR personnel have previously suggested to churn out false relationship speculations about him so as to be in the limelight. He expressed:
“It can be used for PR. Yaha nahi bhi hote relationships toh chala dete hai. Many people and PR’s have suggested to me in the past ki kuch chala dete hai.”
Moving forth in the conversation, Amol Parashar claimed that at the end of everything, he just wants his audience to focus on his work and nothing else. He added that if he wishes to share anything at all about his personal life, that too will be through his work.

Concluding his statement, Amol Parashar set the record straight and revealed that he and his partner is not hiding away from the media. He talked about the possibility of dropping a picture with his ladylove at any given day and expressed how even that decision would be a random thought. Amol added:
“I may just put a picture tomorrow. Soch ke kya karna hai? If it goes for a while, you prefer that. There is nothing we are missing out on. We are not hiding from people. We go to parties and all of that and people know. But to put something out there on the media hasn’t felt necessary. It is not like we need it. This is my longest relationship so far. We went through the lockdown and everything. So yeah, it is good and serious.”
