Amitabh Bachchan Shares What A Friend Told Him After His Father's Demise: 'Aapko Khush Hona Chaiye'

Moreover, Amitabh is an ideal family man who knows how to keep his family's culture and elders' values intact. Recently, the veteran actor opened up about a beautiful life lesson that his friend has given him after the former's father's demise.

Coming to his personal life, Amitabh Bachchan is the son of the eminent poet and writer, Harivansh Rai Bachchan and social activist, Teji Bachchan. Amitabh used to share a warm bond with his parents and has transferred the same values to his kids. For the unversed, Amitabh had tied the knot with veteran actress, Jaya Bachchan and the couple is blessed with two beautiful kids, Abhishekh Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda.

Recently, Amitabh Bachchan appeared at the trailer launch of his upcoming film, Goodbye. During the conversation with the media, he opened up about his friend's remarkable advice after his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan's demise. He revealed that after coming back from performing his father's last rites, he was sitting in the latter's room when his friend asked him about the reason behind him getting upset. To this, Amitabh explained his present situation to his friend. However, what Amitabh's friend told him afterwards, during his tough times became remarkable for them. In his words:

"When I lost my father and after the last rites were over babuji ke kamre main aa karke baitha hua that. Zaheer hain ki nirasha thi, humare mitra the jo, unhone kaha tum itne udas kyun baithe hue ho? Mene kaha anteem sanskar karke aaye hain, thodisi nirasha hain. Usne bohot ucchi baat kahi, usne kaha aap nirash kyun ho rahe hain, aapko toh khush hona chaiye ki aap 60 varsh se jyada samay apne pita ke saath gujar sake, mein toh bas 25 saal guzar saka."

In the last episode of the reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 14, one contestant shared an interesting story from his childhood. However, it was Amitabh Bachchan's reaction to it that caught our attention. The veteran actor had taken a trip down his memory lane and shared an amazing story from his younger days. He opened up about the time when he was beaten by his mother, Teji Bachchan for listening to a cricket match commentary over the transistor. He had said:

"Once I was trying to hear a match on the radio by going under a blanket, and my mother caught me. Babuji was sleeping in another room, and my mother removed my blanket and thrashed me."

This is not the first time when Amitabh recalled some memorable tales from his childhood. Earlier, in one of the episodes of the show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 14, Amitabh Bachchan had shared a story from his schooling days, when he used to fling his school in order to visit the nearby girls' school. Talking about the same, the actor had shared:

"It was very easier for us to escape from the boundary wall because next to our school was a lady's school and to see them we would always climb from the wall and go."
