Abhishek Bachchan is all set to make his comeback to the silver screens after a prolonged period of more than one year. The talented actor will be next seen in R Balki's most-anticipated sports drama film, Ghoomer. For the unversed, the film has already created a buzz amongst the cine-lovers and received a standing ovation following its screening on the first night of the 14th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM). Ghoomer will hit the theatres on August 18, 2023. And beforehand, Abhishek Bachchan's father and the veteran actor, Amitabh Bachchan reviewed the upcoming film.
Taking to his blog, Big B shared that he watched Ghoomer back-to-back twice. Heaping praises on the movie, Amitabh mentioned that it is incredible and its verdict is beyond mention. He also mentioned that watching the movie made him teary-eyed. Big B shared:

"So yes saw Ghoomer back to back twice .. Sunday afternoon .. and then at night again .. and the verdict is beyond mention .. simply incredible.. eyes have been in the aqua flow from the very first frame .. and when the progeny is involved, they flow copiously .. and each reaction has some wonder in their thoughts and words and deeds .. each notices something that is so endearing and appealing."

In his blog, Amitabh Bachchan also praised director, R Balki and the narration embedded in the upcoming movie, Ghoomer. The talented artist mentioned that the complex ideas have been knitted well in the film by R Balki. Amitabh mentioned that each word is so well crafted, and it tells the tale of losers and winners through which we all have been through. Big B also shared a few details about the film and said that it is about the game of cricket and portrays the life of an ambitious girl.
Further, in his blog, Amitabh Bachchan heaped praises on the script of the movie, Ghoomer. He also shared that the movie's story talks about how a winner feels after he becomes successful. Big B stated that each of the aspects in this film is crafted so creatively and subtly that, for him, the respect and applause for the same is tremendous. Amitabh shared:
"Each of us ..each one of us have faced failure at some point or the other in our lives .. and we are aware and know how it feels .. but .. how does a winner feel when he succeeds .. that is the challenge we all face .. we all strive for .. we all struggle for .. and then when we find that door is shut .. we break it open and ENTER .. to achieve what we have wanted to all our lives ..that is the learning .. the template of living ..and when it is portrayed in a most creative subtle manner .. the respect and applaud is tremendous."

Earlier, in an interview with the Humans of Bombay, Abhishek Bachchan opened up about his parents, Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan's reaction after watching his debut film, Refugee. Abhishek shared that on the screening night of the film, Refugee both of his parents became emotional after seeing him on the silver screen. Sharing details about the same, Abhisehk mentioned that, while his mom got really emotional after seeing him on the screen, his papa, Big B, on the other hand, was quiet because he is not such a person who displays his emotions very easily.

Earlier, in an interview with Indian Express, Abhishek Bachchan talked about his dad, Amitabh Bachchan. The actor called Big B his greatest cheerleader and stated that it had taken Amitabh Bachchan a lot of courage to express his love and care for his kids publicly.
