We share a strong wireless connection with her and she can understand all our mood swings whether we are next door or miles apart. And megastar, Amitabh Bachchan also shared a beautiful relationship with his late mother, Teji Bachchan. Amitabh Bachchan name speaks history and he is known as one of the strongest pillars of Indian cinema, thanks to his impeccable acting skills. But not many know that it was his mother, Teji Bachchan, who had introduced him to the creative world of cinema, arts and theatre. In one of his blogs, the actor had revealed how his mother had made him enter the world of theatre and ballroom dancing. We remember in many media interactions, Amitabh had also accepted that his mother has shaped him as a person.

On March 19, 2020, Amitabh Bachchan came across singer, Harshdeep Kaur's song, Taati Vaao Na Lagai and it reminded him of his mother as she used to sing this song to him when he was a kid. The actor took to his Twitter handle and wrote a tweet that can be read as "Thank you so much Harshdeep ji .. brought back memories of my Mother, who sang this to me throughout my early years .. and when we shifted from Allahabad to Delhi, she drove herself with my brother and me in our car from Allahabad to Delhi , just reciting 'taati vaao na lagai."

In January, this year, Amitabh ji had terrible missed his his 'ma ka pallu' after a visit to the hospital. He had taken to his Twitter handle and had shared an incident that made him miss his mother. In his tweet, the actor had revealed that he visited a doctor after a black spot appeared in his left eye. That’s when the doctor had told him that it is an age-related issue and can be dealt with a simple home remedy. He had further narrated the incident and had shared that the doctor had prescribed him to blow hot air in a cloth and put it on his eyes. This remedy was enough to take him back to his childhood lane and in that moment he had missed his mother. However, Amitabh ji had heated up a handkerchief with the help of electricity but it wasn't the same as his mother's pallu. In an interview with DailyBhaskar.com, Amitabh ji had beautifully said that he doesn't need to remember his mother on her birthday as she has a permanent residence in his heart. He had said, "Mother is always a Mother. She settles in our body and mind. The one who is already settled in my heart how to I recall her? It is our body; how will you make remind of it.
