Well, jokes apart, Amitabh Bachchan is facing a similar situation in his real life, as his better half, Mrs Jaya Bachchan is stuck in Delhi ever since the lockdown has been announced. While we wonder if they are catching up over calls, just like Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini in Baghban, a report in Bollywood Hungama states what the couple is doing away from each other. Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most active B-town celebrities on social media platforms. Sharing throwback pictures, to poems, to spreading awareness, Big B is using his social media handle in the best way possible. The veteran actor, who is doing his best to create awareness amongst masses to stay at home and spend time with family, is himself away from his wife, as Jaya Bachchan is stuck in Delhi due to the lockdown.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Amitabh Bachchan, who has been creating awareness, asking fans to follow rules and stay safe, is in their Jalsa home, Mumbai. However, he is bored watching films. Quoting their source, “He is done with watching movies and he’s a very light sleeper, so he can’t accelerate the volume of sleep. He is waiting to get back to work.” The report also added that Mr Bachchan is keen to learn a new skill. He wishes to learn piano, but from a piano teacher which is not possible as of now.
According to the same report, Jaya Bachchan has been in Delhi since the 21-days nationwide lockdown was announced which is now extended till May 3. The report further mentioned that she has been enjoying her solitude in Delhi. The report states “She is catching up on lot of paper work, unseen films, and also a long brisk walk every morning and evening in her back garden.” Also, the veteran actress will not return to Mumbai anytime soon even if the lockdown is lifted or the flights resume. While Amitabh Bachchan is busy watching films, son, Abhishek Bachchan is missing his mom, Jaya Bachchan. On April 9, 2020, Jaya Bachchan had turned 72 and Abhishek had posted a birthday wish for her informing fans that Jaya ji is stuck in Delhi due to the COVID-19 lockdown while the entire family is in Mumbai. Abhishek had written a ‘miss you’ birthday note for his mother. Sharing a smiling picture of Jaya ji, he had written, “As every child will tell you, their favourite word is... MA! Happy Birthday, Ma. Although you are away in Delhi due to the lockdown and we all are here in Mumbai, know that we are thinking of you and carry you in our hearts. I love you!”

Big B, who often shares throwback pictures, on March 5, 2020, had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a monochrome picture of his best-half, Jaya Bachchan in the avatar of great Swami Vivekananda.
