Amitabh Bachchan Opens Up About 'Anxiety' As Samay Raina Roasts Him, 'The Mind Keeps Reminding...'

The veteran Bollywood actor, Amitabh Bachchan, needs no introduction. Over the years, he has won hearts with his strong screen presence. Besides acting, Amitabh is widely known for successfully hosting the non-fiction show, Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). From celebrities to common people, many have featured on KBC. Among the many, it was stand-up comedian, Samay Raina who appeared on the show in 2025. Recently, on his show, Still Alive, Samay roasted Big B, for which he has been facing backlash. Amid this, Big B opened up about anxiety.

In his latest blog, Amitabh Bachchan gets candid about facing anxiety in a fast-paced world. He shares that each day, people get lots of new ideas and things they want to do. Thus, they focus on one thing at a time. But the mind keeps worrying about the other pending things. These things create anxiety. He highlighted that when people think of sitting back and relaxing a bit, social media keeps throwing endless things, making it harder to choose and decide what really matters. The blog on facing anxiety comes at a time when a stand-up comedian roasted him. Amitabh wrote:

"Each day brings on fresh thoughts and ideas. All of it cannot be assembled in one 'go'. So, you work on the principle of 'one at a time'. Fine, but the mind keeps reminding of what has yet to be done and the anxiety of it. So you leave everything and sit back, hoping that the mind shall stop its 'adventure', but no it does not. And the storm of the internet blows strong and drives your attention to so many aspects that it becomes very difficult to assess what and which is the 'real deal.'"

Samay Raina roasted Amitabh Bachchan on his Still Alive Show

Samay Raina made headlines for his new show titled Still Alive. A few days ago, on his show, Still Alive, Samay recalled the time when he was called on the show, KBC, hosted by Bollywood superstar, Amitabh Bachchan. He revealed that while he was sitting on the hot seat, he had many weird thoughts, but refrained from making them. Roasting Big B, Samay stated on the Still Alive show, "Sir, aapne itna polio ka ad kiya, phir bhi apne bete ko paon pe kyu nahi khada kar paye sir."

This statement didn’t go well with netizens. A user on  X (formerly Twitter) wrote, "In jaise log pe ghinn aati hai ... Apni popularity ke liye ye kisika bhi naam leke gandagi phelayenge. Why don't you get original, and if you don't have anything good to say, then shut your mouth." Another user commented, "Such cheap talk is not comedy."
