Rumours about a family feud in the Bachchan clan have been going on for a long time now. But no one from the family ever addressed the ongoing speculations, and rather, they remained tight-lipped. Now, Amitabh Bachchan shared one of his fondest memories of the song, Kajra Re, as the film, Bunty Aur Babli, completed 19 years. The song features Amitabh, his son, Abhishek Bachchan, and his bahu, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. However, what caught the netizens' reaction was that Big B skipped mentioning Aishwarya's name in the post.
Taking to his X handle, Amitabh Bachchan recalled performing the song, Kajra Re, with Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on stage. Big B was seemingly talking about the time the trio performed the song at the 2005 IIFA Awards. Sharing a post featuring him, Aishwarya and Abhishek from the film, Amitabh Bachchan penned:
“The song became so popular that it still regenerates attention and love .. and the best moments with the song, Bhaiyu, were when we performed this live on stage."

Amitabh Bachchan brought back many old memories as he divulged the details about the popular song, Kajra Re. Soon after, many netizens flooded the post's comment section and reacted to the same. However, a section of social media users also pointed out that Big B skipped mentioning Aishwarya Rai's name in the post, despite the fact that she stole the show in the song. Earlier, during one of the episodes of his quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, Amitabh Bachchan got nostalgic and recalled the song, Kajra Re, from the film, Bunty Aur Babli. It so happened that during the episode, the contestant, Abhishek Garg from Haryana, faced the 12th question for Rs. 12,50,000, which was about Piyush Mishra's band, Ballimaaraan. Later, the megastar went on to share some insights about Ballimaaraan and revealed that the term was used in his song, Kajra Re, which had him, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Abhishek Bachchan. Recalling the memories, Big B said:
"Usmein hum teeno the tab humari bahu nahi thi ab ban gayi hai, bahu thi Abhishek the aur hum the... uss gaane mein bol the."

As Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan completed their 17th year of marital bliss, Amitabh Bachchan took to his Blog and penned down some sweet words for the couple. Big B skipped wishing Aishwarya and Abhishek directly and instead showered love on their well-wishers who wished them on their anniversary. Along with a rose emoticon, Amitabh sent his gratitude to everyone who had wished his son and daughter-in-law on their wedding anniversary. Big B penned:
"And my wishes to all that have wished Abhishek-Aishwarya on their wedding anniversary. My gracious gratitude first to all they that wish Abhishek and Aishwarya on their Wedding Anniversary .. they send their acknowledgement and thank you for it."
