A video from outside Amitabh Bachchan’s residence, Jalsa, has gone viral on social media, revealing how the megastar celebrated Diwali with his staff. The clip, shared on Instagram by a content creator, has sparked online discussions about the veteran actor’s generosity and simplicity. The video begins with the creator showing a box of sweets, saying, “Ye mithai baata ja raha hai. Ye Amitabh Bachchan ka ghar hai,” as he films the surroundings of the actor’s iconic Mumbai home.

The visuals capture a glimpse of Bachchan’s staff receiving festive goodies. When the person behind the camera asks if any money was also distributed, one of the staff members replies, “Paise bhi diye,” revealing that he received Rs. 10,000 as a Diwali gift. The caption reads: 

“Bollywood Biggest Actor Amitabh Bachchan House in Mumbai Juhu & Amitabh Bachchan gave Rs 10,000 cash and a box of sweets to his house staff and security personnel."

Soon after the clip circulated online, it triggered mixed responses from viewers. Many people expressed disappointment, claiming the amount was too small considering Mr. Bachchan’s immense wealth and decades-long stardom.

One user commented, “10000 se kya hoga?” and another wrote, “He could do much more for sure.” As Amitabh is the brand ambassador, one sarcastically wrote, “Ary wo bikaji ke brand ambassador hain free me aye hua hoga to sab ko bat diya.” However, not everyone joined the criticism.
