In the upcoming episode from KBC 16, Amitabh will share some unheard anecdotes about his kids' Abhishek and Shweta's wedding soirees.
The upcoming episode of KBC 16 will be graced by famous singers, Gurdas Maan and Shankar Mahadevan. As they joined the guest seats, it was all magical around with their soulful songs. Amitabh Bachchan revealed that the kids in his family are in love with Punjabi folk songs. Big B recalled talking to his daughter, Shweta Bachchan, about the same, who shared that these kids go to Gurudwara from a very early age, and they fall in love with the Bani, and from there only, they start to love Punjabi folk songs way too much. Asking the singers if Shweta said it right, Amitabh mentioned:
"I was talking to my daughter Shweta because all the kids in our family listen to Punjabi folk songs; they are very popular in our household. I asked her how these songs become so popular and where the singers come from. There are so many new singers emerging who sing beautifully. She told me something that I would like you to confirm - whether it's true or not. She said that at a very young age, children go to the Gurudwara, listen to the Bani, and learn from it. It is from there that they get their music education. Is this true?."
Replying to Amitabh Bachchan, Gurdas Maan shared that what Shweta said is absolutely right. The singer further recalled how his team performed in front of the Bachchan clan, and how Amitabh Bachchan blessed him with Rs. 500. Meanwhile, Shankar Mahadevan shared that he had performed at Abhishek Bachchan's wedding. In Gurdas Maan's words:
"I’m feeling a lot of love and respect today. I remember, I was in Delhi for Shweta's wedding, and our group performed there. Shenshah (referring to Mr Bachchan) was standing in front of us. After I performed, he gave me a 500-rupee note as a blessing. I still keep that note as a treasure with me."
Shweta Bachchan got married to businessman Nikhil Nanda back in 1997 in an intimate affair. It was during one of their wedding anniversaries, when Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla took to their IG handles, and shared glimpses from Shweta Bachchan's wedding. For her sangeet and mehendi, Shweta opted for white-toned outfits. In one of the photos, the gorgeousness could be seen donning a white-toned lehenga with golden work all over. In another photo, Shweta was seen looking gorgeous in a chikankari lehenga set, with phool-ki-dupatta. Moreover, Shweta radiated bride-to-be vibes in the glimpses of her pre-wedding soiree.
For her wedding day, Shweta Bachchan was decked up in a dark red-toned lehenga with golden work all over. Classy jewels, and soft makeup, along with a bun hairstyle, were enough to finalise her look. On the other hand, Nikhil Nanda looked handsome in a beige-toned kurta with golden dot work all over.
