Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan tied the knot in April 2007 and have a daughter together, Aaradhya Bachchan. The duo has been in the limelight for some time now, owing to their divorce rumours. Neither Abhishek nor Aishwarya have openly addressed the ongoing murmurs about their marriage hitting a rough patch, but their separate appearance at the Ambani wedding left fans worried.
Aishwarya Rai even visited Lalbaugcha Raja to seek blessings without Abhishek Bachchan. Amid all this, Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog and shared a cryptic post about reflection and how life is short. The actor shared that he gets surprised after looking at himself in the mirror as he has changed a lot in the past few years. He added that attention will eventually fade away and wrote:

"The last thoughts on the Blog last night spoke about ‘reflection’… this ‘sher’ sums it all up: surprised I was when I looked into the mirror; this face that I see now was something else at another time some years ago… I await the call from the GOJ, on yet another Sunday… and still wonder which face they shall relate to; those that have given me so much time love and attention, despite the face."
He further added that though he comforts himself with hope, he is well aware that attention is short-lived. Drawing similarities between life and attention, Big B pointed out that both of them end eventually and penned:
"I hear the cheers from below my window and comfort myself with hope… but life and attention are short-lived… life withers and ends, attention withers and eventually ends too… There is but one similarity – IT ALL ENDS EVENTUALLY!"
He also talked about the ongoing festival of Ganesh Chaturthi and prayed that the Almighty shower his blessings on everyone and guide us all on the path of peace and accomplishment. He also pointed out how the enthusiasm of the well-wishers who sought Bappa's blessings changed his face and wrote:
"The festivities of Ganapati have begun and the might and care of the mighty saviour are prayed upon for HIS blessings… may HE guide us all on the path of peace and accomplishment… and bring the years of life with the abundance of happiness… for happiness is the infinite eventual… The cheers were genuine… the well-wishers on their way either to Ganpati Poojan by the sea .. or returning from it, so there were numbers .. but the enthusiasm was most valuable .. it changed many a face .. including mine .. ! the 'sher' notwithstanding."
On September 9, 2024, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was spotted seeking blessings of Ganpati Bappa at Lalbaugcha Raja with her mother, Brinda Rai and her daughter, Aaradhya. However, Abhishek Bachchan's absence didn't go unnoticed. For the occasion, Aishwarya looked gorgeous in a rani pink-hued suit paired with a contrasting soft pink dupatta. Subtle makeup, pin-straight hair and no fancy accessories added stars to her look. On the other hand, Aaradhya opted for a yellow-toned suit and styled it with curly hair.
