Bollywood actor, Amitabh Bachchan is the ultimate Shahehshah of Bollywood, and his popularity is second to none. In his career spanning over decades, the megastar has managed to earn name and fame in the industry. He has been working hard and fulfilling his work commitments even at the age of 79, which is admirable. Well, not just acting, it looks like the actor is also investing in some properties mindfully.
For the unversed, Amitabh Bachchan had got married to actress, Jaya Bachchan, and they are blessed with two kids, Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan. Being a complete family man, Big B always keeps his loved ones first. The actor lives in his bungalow, Jalsa, along with his wife, Jaya, son, Abhishek, daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and granddaughter, Aaradhya Bachchan.

According to a report in ETimes, Amitabh Bachchan has bought a new property in Mumbai. Spread over 12000 square feet, the property is on the 31st floor of the Parthenon society. However, a source close to him revealed that Big B would continue to live at his Jalsa bungalow and he has bought this property for investment. Moreover, the price of the property is not known yet.
For the unversed, Amitabh Bachchan already has six bungalows in Mumbai. While he lives in Jalsa, which is spread over 10 thousand square feet, he also owns Pratiksha, where he used to live with his parents earlier. His third bungalow is Janak, where his office is built, and the next one is Vats. Apart from these, he had also bought a bungalow worth Rs. 60 crores just behind Jalsa in 2013, and he also owns another property worth Rs. 31 crores, which he bought in 2021.

Earlier, on April 11, 2021, Amitabh Bachchan had posted a picture from the set of his film, Chupke Chupke, with his wife, Jaya Bachchan on his Instagram handle. In the picture, young Amitabh and Jaya could be seen standing outside a house and having a conversation. Alongside it, Big B had penned a note in the caption and shared the history behind buying their dream house, Jalsa. His caption could be read as:
"Chupke Chupke “ our film by Hrishikesh MUKERJI.. closing today at 46 years. This house you see in the picture is Producer NC Sippy’s house .. we bought it, then sold it, then bought it back again .. rebuilt it .. this is our home now JALSA. Many films were shot here .. Anand, NamakHaram, Chupke Chupke, Satte pe Satta, and many more."
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen in the film, Good Bye.
