Bigg Boss 19 was supposed to give Amaal Mallik a platform to showcase himself as a person and give his fans a better look at him. However, since he entered the house, he has been surrounded by controversy. And yet again, the singer-composer has found himself in the centre of a controversy with fans wondering if the singer will be quitting the show mid-season.

The buzz around Amaal Mallik quitting Bigg Boss 19 surfaced after his father, Daboo Malik, shared a cryptic post on social media, prompting fans to speculate that Amaal might be quitting the show midway. Daboo had written, "Bahut Hogaya...Ab Bass...Milten Hain 28th October, 2025…Music is our real destiny," leading many to believe he was hinting at Amaal's exit. However, in a recent conversation with Roshan Gary, Amaal's aunt has reacted to the speculations.

Amaal Mallik's aunt, Roshan Gary, recently addressed rumours that the singer was leaving the show and cleared the air. In a statement to Filmygyan, Roshan clarified that Amaal had no link with Daboo Mallik's statement. She emphasises that the singer's father was talking about focusing on music, not about Amaal. Her clarification has temporarily put the rumours to rest, though speculation about Amaal's future on the show continues. She was quoted as saying:

"Has he ever said in his post, 'Let’s meet Amaal?' Has he mentioned that Amaal is coming? He just said, ‘Enough is enough now.’ He just meant that enough of social media and now let’s concentrate on music. It’s not connected to Amaal." 

Roshan Gary also reflects on Amaal Mallik's ongoing rift with Farhana Bhatt

In the same conversation, Roshan Gary also addressed the entire fiasco between Amaal Mallik and Farhana Bhatt. For the unversed, Amaal and Farhana have been at odds following a heated argument during a captaincy task. The tension between the two has only escalated since the clash after Farhana tore Neelam's letter from home, angering several housemates. The argument spiralled when Amaal snatched Farhana's plate and allegedly made derogatory comments about her and her mother.

Roshan Gary addressed what happened and further stirred controversy by calling Farhana a "te**orist", a remark that provoked outrage online. Farhana's brother, Bhaskar Bhatt, strongly condemned Roshan's statement, telling Dainik Bhaskar that such language was "inappropriate" and that she "should apologise for her public statement."

Bhaskar Bhatt also addressed Amaal's recent behaviour on Bigg Boss 19. He stated that Amaal Mallik was wrong for what he said and for involving the people who are not even a part of the game in his arguments. He further shared that Amaal's father had visited them during the weekend and apologised for his son's behaviour. However, he also stressed that Amaal should be more responsible, given that he is a public figure. He was quoted as saying:

"Whatever Amaal has said is wrong. When you go after family, people who are not even involved in that game, that's a very wrong thing. Amaal's father had come on the weekend and apologised, but if this behaviour continues, there's clearly a problem. Amaal is a public figure. People idealise him, people follow him, so he should avoid saying such things — especially about family."
