Alyssa Milano Removes Her Breast Implants At Age Of 52, Says, 'Letting Go Of What Was Never Me..'

Alyssa Milano has long been a familiar face in Hollywood, who is well-known for her roles in iconic shows like Charmed and Who’s the Boss? Apart from her acting career, she has gained widespread recognition for often speaking about women’s rights, social justice, and authenticity. Recently, she took a bold step of removing her breast implants at the age of 52. 

Alyssa Milano shares feeling free after the surgery

On September 24, 2025, actress, Alyssa Milano took to her Instagram handle to share a photo of herself in a hospital gown and penned a heartfelt message along with it. She tagged her surgeon, Dr. Tim Neavin and shared that she is finally getting rid of the body parts that were once se****ed and a***sed. She also revealed that by taking this decision, she is protecting her daughter from societal pressure. Her note can be read as:

"Today I’m releasing those false narratives, the parts of me that were never actually parts of me. I’m letting go of the body that was sexualized, that was abused, that I believed was necessary for me to be attractive; to be loved; to be successful; to be happy. And in doing so, I hope I am releasing my daughter Bella from ever feeling those same unhealthy demands."

She continued to mention that removing her implants is what feels right for her personally and does not reflect on other women’s choices. She even revealed that she is inspired by women like Michelle Visage, who have often openly talked about breast implants. In her words:

"Now, I want to be clear that many women will find freedom and beauty in choosing their implants. What is a false narrative for me may be the exact right thing for them, and I am so happy that we can all find our femininity and peace on our own terms. I’m also tremendously inspired by women like Michelle Visage who have been open and public about their relationships with their breast implants, making it easier for me and countless others to find our own way."
