All About Kelsey Grammer's Seven Children, As Actor Welcomes Baby No. 8 With Fourth Wife At 70

Veteran Hollywood actor Kelsey Grammer has just become a dad - again! The 70-year-old Frasier star recently became a father again, and he’s over the moon about it. Kelsey and his fourth wife, Kayte Walsh, have welcomed their fourth child together, bringing his total to eight children.

On October 27, 2025 (ET), Kelsey Grammer appeared on the Pod Meets World podcast to announce the happy news that he and Kayte have welcomed their fourth child, a son named Christopher. The actor, known for his wit and charm both on and off-screen, sounded overjoyed as he spoke proudly about his growing family. 

This marks Grammer’s eighth time becoming a father, and he couldn’t be happier. The Emmy winner, who has faced decades of Hollywood fame and personal heartbreaks through three divorces, is once again embracing fatherhood with warmth and gratitude. To celebrate this joyful milestone, here’s a look at all seven of his children before baby Christopher.

Meet Kelsey Grammer’s eight children

Kelsey Grammer’s personal life has been far from smooth. After three failed marriages, the actor seems to have found lasting happiness with Kayte Walsh, who is 20 years younger and the mother of his four children. Before Kayte, Kelsey was married to Real Housewives alum Camille Meyer, with whom he shares two kids. Earlier, he was briefly married to Leigh-Anne Csuhany, following his first marriage to Doreen Alderman (1982–1990), with whom he has his eldest daughter, Spencer.

Kayte Grammer’s first child, Spencer, was born in 1983 to his first wife, Doreen,  who followed in her dad’s footsteps and pursued acting. Spencer Grammer starred in films like Greek and lent her voice to ‘Summer Smith’ in the popular animated show, Rick and Morty. She also worked alongside her father in the 2022 Lifetime movie The 12 Days of Christmas Eve. Spencer is now a mom herself, sharing a son, Emmett, with her ex-husband, James Hesketh.

Nine years after Spencer, Kelsey welcomed his second child, a daughter named Greer, with his ex-girlfriend, Barrie Buckner. The 33-year-old has also pursued acting like her elder sister and father, best known for her roles in MTV’s Awkward and Netflix’s Deadly Illusions. Most recently, Greer joined the Frasier reboot on Paramount+, playing ‘Roz Doyle’s daughter, ‘Alice’.

Mason Olivia Grammer (24)

Kelsey shares his daughter, Mason Olivia, with his third wife and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Meyer. Mason was born via surrogacy in 2001 and has grown up to be a talented model, making her walking debut in New York Fashion Week at just age 15. In 2024, she graduated from Emerson College and remains in close contact with both her parents despite their very public divorce.

Kelsey and Camille welcomed their second child, Jude, in 2004. Just like his father and his half-sisters, Jude has shown an interest in acting from an early age. After the couple divorced in 2011, their son chose his mom’s house in California as his primary residence, but he remains equally close with his father.

In 2011, just weeks after the finalisation of his divorce from Camille Grammer, Kelsey tied the knot with Kayte Walsh, a former English flight attendant. Faith Evangeline Elisa Grammer (13)

Grammer and Walsh welcomed their first child, a daughter, on July 13, 2012, whom they named Faith Evangeline Elisa Grammer. The thrilled couple shared the news with a statement to PEOPLE, announcing that both the mother and the child were in “excellent health”. They were originally expecting twins, but the other child couldn’t survive. Kelsey later honored her by naming his Faith American Brewery after her.

Two years after Faith, Halsey, and Kayte welcomed Kelsey Gabriel Elias ‘Gabriel’ Grammer, a baby boy whom they named after the actor and his father. Speaking about their little one’s birth, the couple said in a statement:

"We are blessed and excited to have this lovely young man join our family — he is magnificent. Our son will be called Gabriel, as there is a tradition in our family of going by our middle names."

Auden James Ellis ‘James’ Grammer (8)

Kelsey’s seventh child, Auden ‘James’ Ellis Grammer, was born on November 14, 2016. The child was named in honour of renowned poet W.H. Auden, singer James Taylor, and Grammer’s great-grandfather. Speaking about why they named him so, the couple said the name “was chosen to honor the great poet W.H. Auden, and James is after another great poet and singer, James Taylor — two of our favorites.”

In June 2025, the news was rife that Kelsey and Kayte were ready to embrace parenthood yet again, and the couple was excited to bring their fourth child into the world. And now, it has been confirmed that their newest member, baby Christopher, was born earlier in October 2025, just three days before the podcast taping, making Kelsey a proud father of eight at 70.

Who is Kayte Walsh?

Kalsey's fourth wife, Kayte Walsh, is a former British flight attendant who met the actor when he was still married to Camille Meyer. According to several reports, the two began dating in 2010, and a year later, they tied the knot in February 2010, just two weeks after Kelsey’s divorce from Camille was finalised. 

Known for his Emmy-winning portrayal of 'Frasier Crane' in Cheers and Frasier, Grammer’s personal life has seen as much evolution as his decades-long career. The star has been open about his past struggles, heartbreaks, and growth. 

Grammar has admitted that he was largely absent from his older kids’ lives, but now, he is ready to embrace fatherhood at its fullest, dedicating more time to his family and kids. In his own words, “It's the greatest experience in the world, the joy every day of being with my kids.”
