The much-awaited wedding of Bollywood had finally happened. One of the most adored couples of B-town, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had tied the knot on April 14, 2022, in an intimate ceremony. Happy moments and Love-filled pictures from their dreamy wedding are filled in all over the social media, and we can't stop drooling over them. Recently, we got to know a few details of Alia's Manish Malhotra lehenga for her mehendi ceremony which had happened at Ranbir's Vastu home in Bandra on April 13, 2022.
Coming back to Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's white wedding, the duo had twinned in ivory-coloured ensembles. Soon after the wedding on April 14, 2022, Alia had taken to her IG handle and had shared a series of pictures with her darling hubby, Ranbir Kapoor. In the pictures, the much-in-love couple was seen lost in each other and their happiness was clearly visible on their faces. Along with the stunning pictures, Alia had written:

"Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot - the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love."

For the mehendi ceremony, the then-bride-to-be, Alia Bhatt had worn a Fuschia pink-coloured lehenga paired with a strapped blouse from the shelves of the ace designer, Manish Malhotra. She had teamed her look with minimal makeup and diamond jewellery, including a stunning neckpiece adorned with uncut diamonds and green drops and a matching maang teeka. A few hours ago, the designer's official Instagram page shared Alia's stunning picture from the ceremony and along with it, mentioned the sustainable approach of her pink ensemble. Revealing about the 180 textiles patches which were stitched together to give a unique yet elegant feel to her lehenga, the caption read as:
"A treasure of traceability and trust. The very beautiful #ManishMalhotraBride @aliaabhatt chose to personalize her Mehendi ensemble with a sustainable approach, where approximately 180 textiles patches come together to mark her momentous occasion, the most special one indeed. The custom touches reminisce about her journey and depict symbolic elements of her memories."

Further, in the note, the designer revealed about the Kashmiri and Chikankari thread works, which were the major part of Alia's lehenga. Manish also talked about the 3000 hours of intricate handwork of the 'Mijwan' women who had added read gold and silver embellishments to the then-bride-to-be, Alia's lehenga. He added:
"Inscribed through Kashmiri and Chikankari threads, the passionate 3000-hour intricate handwork of #Mijwan women features a fuchsia pink Lehenga and a blouse embellished in real gold and silver nakshi and kora flowers, and vintage gold metal sequins from Kutch."

The ace designer, Manish Malhotra, revealed the outfits' further details, which included Banarasi brocades, jacquard, bandhani, and Kachha Resham knots. Alia's choice of this pink coloured ensemble indeed matched her personality and donning it, she radiated a beautiful bridal glow. Manish concluded:
"The patches are woven together using a couture technique of cross-stitches with three tar and six tar anchors. Edged in real gold zari and appliques, this handwoven silk ensemble also carries Banarasi brocades, jacquard, bandhani, Kachha Resham knots, and some scraps from brides' earlier outfits and detailing from #ManishMalhotraArchives. Every love story is unique, and @manishmalhotra05 beautifully narrates her beginning tale of a joyous forever."
On April 16, 2022, Alia Bhatt had shared a series of pictures from her mehendi ceremony on her IG handle. In some of the pictures, we could see the then-bride-to-be, Alia lost in her then-groom-to-be, Ranbir Kapoor, and together they had looked super adorable. In a few other glimpses, we could see Neetu and Ranbir dancing their hearts out, Ranbir holding a photo frame of his late father, Rishi Kapoor's portrait, and many other happy moments. Mentioning her rollercoaster ride of emotions that day, she had written:
"The Mehendi was like something out of a dream. It was a day full of love, family, our beautiful best friends, a LOT of French fries, a surprise performance by the ladkewalas, Ayan playing DJ, a BIG surprise organised by Mr. Kapoor (my favourite artist performed my favourite songs), all followed by some happy tears and quiet, blissful moments with the love of my life. There are days… and then there are days like these!"
