Alia Bhatt has received global recognition for her prolific achievements. Apart from being a phenomenal actress, she is a popular entrepreneur and has her own brand of kid and maternity wear, Ed-A-Mamma. She runs her own production house, and even made her prestigious debut at the Cannes Film Festival. Moreover, she is also scheduled to make her Hollywood debut with the upcoming film, Heart Of Stone. However, despite being such an all-rounder, she frequently becomes a target of trolls and criticisms. And recently, something similar happened yet again.
Recently, a Reddit user shared an old interview of Alia Bhatt, which was taken during her promotional spree for her Hollywood film, Heart Of Stone at the Netflix TUDUM event. In the interview, Alia was asked several questions that ranged from anecdotes about her upcoming film, fond childhood anecdotes to creatively imagines questions. While Alia answered them all, it seemed that she thought and contemplated a bit before giving her response.

However, it seems a certain section of netizens are left unimpressed with her answers. In the video that was shared, the Reddit user captioned it as ‘Alia's Candid Red Carpet Interview- Look who can’t function without a script’. Moreover, the user even compared the actress’ responses with veterans like Priyanka Chopra and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and claimed they were better and confident unlike Alia. This started a whole lot of thread to the post, as other netizens also started to poll in their views.

A few days back, another old video of Alia Bhatt during the promotions of her then-released film, Shaandaar went viral on Reddit. The clip featured Alia and her co-star, Shahid Kapoor gracing the show, Comedy Nights With Kapil. In the clip, Kapil Sharma asked Alia from the age since which she has been Shahid Kapoor’ fan. After a lot of calculation and confusion of dates, Alia replied that she watched Shahid’s debut film, Ishq Vishk when she was 12 years old. But this contradicted with her own date of birth, since Alia was born in 1993, and the film was released in 2003. At the end of the clip, Shahid was seen correcting Alia by mentioning that she would have been 10-years-old and not 12 at that time. Seeing the video, netizens started trolling Alia mercilessly in the comment section of the video.

Yet in another of her video that went viral on the social media, Alia Bhatt faced a lot of backlash for apparently showcasing an awkward lip movement while answering an interview with Femina. While a user mentioned that it might be a facial defect, another one suggested that Alia might have gone under the knife and opted for fillers and botox on her lip area.
