Recently, Deepika stepped out for the pre-release event of her upcoming film, Kalki 2898 AD, and left everyone amazed with her maternity fashion. The mommy-to-be flaunted her baby bump for the first time, and Alia Bhatt couldn't stop gushing over her.
Taking to her IG handle, on June 19, 2024, Deepika Padukone shared some pictures of herself as she got decked up for an event. She slipped into a black-hued bodycon dress with a halter neck. The mommy-to-be completed her look with smokey eye makeup, a low ponytail, and a stack of accessories. Deepika flaunted her grown baby bump and won all hearts. She was seen caressing her baby bump and looked the happiest. Along with the pictures, Deepika penned:
“Okay enough…Now I’m hungry!”

Deepika Padukone swooned many hearts with her stunning pictures, flaunting her full-grown baby bump for the first time. Several celebrities rushed to the comments section and reacted to Deepika's new pictures. Actress, Rakul Preet Singh commented, “Uffffff I fainted,” and Jacqueline Fernandez wrote, “So beautiful.” However, it was Alia Bhatt's reaction that caught everyone's attention, as the latter penned:

As Deepika Padukone was unnecessarily trolled for faking her pregnancy, a senior journalist, Faye D’Souza, penned a strong note in support of the actress on social media. As soon as Faye shared the post, Alia Bhatt was quick to react to it along with her sisters, Pooja Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt. Alia defended Deepika and extended her support for the latter. Faye’s post could be read as:
“Dear social media, Deepika Padukone stepped out to do her democratic duty and vote. She did not ask for your feedback on her body or her pregnancy. You have no right to comment on any aspect of her life. Stop it. Behave.”

The couple left their entire fanbase into a meltdown as they revealed that they are going to be parents soon. The photo featured cute drawings of baby stuff, including a bib, shoes, hat, button, and clothes. Atop the picture, the couple penned a note and revealed that their baby will arrive in September 2024.
