Katrina Kaif's pregnancy buzz has been rife ever since she got married to Vicky Kaushal. The moment she disappears from public eyes, reports circulate that she is expecting her first child. And just like every year, Katrina's absence from Ganpati events and Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan's directorial debut raised public eyes if she is pregnant. And within a few days, Katrina surprised all by announcing the good news. Now, her once-best friend and her now-ex beau, Ranbir Kapoor's wife, Alia Bhatt, reacted to her pregnancy.

There was a time when Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif were gym buddies. Their appearance together on Koffee With Karan left everyone in awe and proved that actresses could be friends. However, the dent in their friendship soon appeared when Alia Bhatt began dating Ranbir Kapoor, with whom Katrina Kaif had a bitter breakup. Now, as Katrina announced her pregnancy, Alia, like a doting cheerleader, rooted for her. She 'liked' Katrina's adorable Instagram post, sending her best wishes with the 'heart' on IG.

On September 23, 2025, Katrina took to her IG handle, and shared a collaborative post. The couple finally announced their pregnancy. In the post, Vicky and Katrina were seen holding a Polaroid photo of the most special moment of their life. In the picture, Katrina is seen wearing a white crochet dress and caressing her baby bump. Vicky was in awe while looking at his wife's blooming baby bump. Sharing the photo, Katrina penned how she and her husband are ready to start the best chapter of their lives. She wrote:

"On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude."

Katrina and Vicky, expecting their first child, surfaced after she was spotted donning an oversized outfit. People were sure that she was hiding her baby bump. Later, an insider claimed that Katrina is pregnant and her due date is coming soon. The video of Katrina surfaced in September 2025. In the clip, Katrina was dressed in a beige-hued co-ord set and was with her husband, Vicky Kaushal, as they promoted Kay Beauty's lipsticks together. She looked gorgeous. Fans started commenting that her pregnancy glow was clearly visible. However, many dismissed the buzz as another false claim.

One user wrote, "Look at her, she has a pale face. And look at her belly area, it doesn’t show in the video, but if you zoom in, you’ll see the size of her stomach." Another user commented, "Katrina is pregnant.. Announce the news ASAP." A third user commented, "Wow..I’m sure she is pregnant, congratulations." 

Earlier, a source close to the couple told NDTV that Katrina is expecting her first child. The source also stated that their baby is due in October or November 2025. The source stated that Katrina has been planning to take a long maternity leave as she wants to be a hands-on mommy. The buzz surfaced right after a fake pregnancy announcement of Katrina.
