Alia Bhatt is one of the leading actresses in Bollywood. She has won over the hearts of viewers with her acting, grace, and style from a young age. The actress has been in the spotlight since her debut, and fans have closely witnessed her enter a new phase of life after her marriage to Ranbir Kapoor and the birth of their daughter, Raha. At the same time, Alia often shares glimpses of her emotional or happy moments from her life. Recently, the actress revealed how life has come full circle for her, watching her mom, Soni Razdan, cook for her daughter, Raha.
Alia Bhatt shared a new video on her YouTube channel that featured her mother and veteran actress, Soni Razdan. In the video, the latter taught Alia how to cook the popular mac and cheese dish at home. However, fans were more interested in the chat between the mother-daughter duo. The Raazi actress recalled that she and her sister, Shaheen, grew up eating a lot of tasty dishes cooked by their mom, which had been a big part of their childhood. Praising her mother's cooking, Alia said:
"Her food tops all the restaurants and fancy chefs. I can proudly say that my mother's food is the best in the whole world. I genuinely mean it. Shaheen and I have certain favourite dishes that we have grown up eating and relishing."
Alia Bhatt further added that, to date, they enjoy the delicious food made by their mother. However, she feels more emotional and delighted when she watches her mom, Soni Razdan, making those same dishes for her daughter, Raha, who enjoys them.
"We still eat them when we come home. Now, mumma is making those same dishes for Raha, her granddaughter, and how life comes full circle. I have goosebumps!"
In a previous interview with Elle, Alia Bhatt opened up about her bond with her mom, Soni Razdan, and her career. She admits that she benefited from her parent's struggles in her career. At the same time, the actress recalled that when her mother began working in the Indian film industry, she had no connections and didn't know the language. Consequently, she couldn't become a mainstream actress. Despite this, her mom continued to work hard, inspiring her. Moreover, it left an impact on Alia's mind about privileges.
Alia Bhatt was last seen in Vasan Bala's, Jigra, co-starring, Vedang Raina. She will be next seen in the high-octane action film, Alpha alongside Sharvari. At the same time, Alia has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's, Love and War co-starring her husband, Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, in the pipeline.
