A daughter is someone with whom you can share anything and everything in life. And an exactly similar relationship is shared between Bollywood actress, Alia Bhatt and her father, Mahesh Bhatt. Alia shares a beautiful bond with her daddy, Mahesh Bhatt. However, he wasn't there with her when she was growing up. In an interview with Komal Nahta, Alia had opened up on her father's absence during her childhood. She had shared that her father was always like a celebrity, who would walk into the house. And she didn’t miss him that much because she did not really have him in her early days of childhood. The actress had also shared that their real friendship started when she had entered the Bollywood industry.

Currently, the entire nation is locked up because of the COVID-19 outbreak. Everyone is advised to stay safe and stay at home to minimise the spread of coronavirus. Also, people above the age of sixty are strictly advised to stay at home. This has also made Alia concerned for her father, Mahesh Bhatt's health. In an interview with Rajeev Masand, the actress shared, "He is 70 plus. I am constantly nervous and thinking. That’s why I am always screaming ‘don’t touch your face, don’t do this’."
A few days ago, Alia had shared an emotional post for her father, Mahesh Bhatt. She had posted a monochrome picture and had written, "Stay home and go through old pictures when you’re missing your daddy", followed by a heart emoji. On the occasion of Father's Day, the actress had shared a candid click of her father and had written a sweet note that could be read as "Papa kehte hain — Dont be perfect. Perfect is the enemy of very good Happy Fathers Day my Magic Man".
