Alia Bhatt IGNORES Ananya Panday Twice At The Filmfare OTT Awards 2025? Leaving Her Uncomfortable

Alia Bhatt has successfully established herself as the leading lady of Bollywood. On the other hand, Ananya Panday is following in her footsteps and trying to deliver her best performances in the latest projects. Recently, the two were spotted at the Filmfare OTT Awards. However, a video has been going viral, which shows that Alia, who was busy greeting everyone else, overlooked Ananya Panday, leaving her uncomfortable.

Did Alia Bhatt ignore Ananya Panday?

A video from the event has been going viral, wherein Alia was seen excitedly greeting Vicky Kaushal. However, Alia waited patiently, thinking that she would meet her next, but after sitting down on the chair, she started greeting a few others seated behind her. However, social media was quick to speculate that Alia intentionally ignored Ananya, who felt uncomfortable sitting there and waiting. 

As soon as the video surfaced on Reddit, one user wrote, "Embarrassing." Another one commented, "The part where she is sitting next to her, lol embarrassment at its peak." Another one penned, "This shows Alia is not as innocent and unaware as she or her PR tries to portray. She is notorious, and maybe that's why she made it so far." A fourth netizen wrote, "I felt bad for Ananya."

However, some fans quickly defended Alia Bhatt. One user wrote, "Misleading video. There is already another video where both are chatting and laughing. She didn't ignore anyone lol. People love to hate on Alia." Another one penned, "The Internet is just an agenda running machine because how are people cutting the very next 5 seconds and making this viral to hate someone lol."

It is worth mentioning that in another video, which shows Alia chatting with Ananya right after greeting everyone. The two laughed and enjoyed each other's company. It shows that the above video was just a moment, and there is no truth to the claim that Alia ignored Ananya. Talking about Ananya, she won the Best Actor, Series (Female): Comedy award at the Filmfare OTT Awards 2025 for her performance in Call Me Bae.

On the other hand, Alia is busy shooting for the action-packed role in YRF's spy universe film, Alpha. It also stars Sharvari and Bobby Deol in the lead roles and is going to be released in 2026. Apart from this, she is also going to be part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War, which will also star Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.Talking about their personal life, Alia Bhatt is happily married to Ranbir Kapoor and is a mother of an adorable little girl, Raha. On the other hand, Ananya Panday is in steady relationship with Walker Blanco.
