Alia Bhatt is one of the leading actresses in Bollywood, and every filmmaker or actor wants to work with her. She began her career when she was just 18 years old and has won countless hearts with her performances in films like Raazi, Highway, Darlings, Dear Zindagi, Gangubai Kathiawadi and more. Along with success, Alia has learnt a lot over her decade-long career and made several changes in her personality. However, in a recent interview, the actress admitted that she dislikes it when people accuse her of being a changed person. Here's what she said.
Alia Bhatt is at the top of her career with back-to-back stellar performances that have won the hearts of fans. Recently, she was down for a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter India and shared some interesting facts about herself. When asked about the one thing she dislikes being told, the actress was quick to share her unhappiness over being told she has 'changed'. Sharing the reason behind it, Alia said:
"One thing that I dislike people saying to me is, "Ae, you've changed." And to me, that's like – okay, I think that's good. It would be terrifying to be the same person that you were when you were 16 years old. Change is good."
In the same conversation, the Jigra actress was asked to share three things she wished someone would have told her when she made her way into Bollywood. In her reply, Alia said she wished someone would have told her that change is the only constant in her career and list. At the same time, she felt that someone should have assured her that it was not important to have it all figured out all at once. Rather, one can make mistakes and learn from them. Lastly, she wished someone had told her she must always carry a snack when she started.
In the same conversation, Alia Bhatt opened up about setting boundaries in life and highlighted that being able to say 'no' comes naturally to her. Unlike many people who find it difficult, she understands that giving a nod to everything means saying no to herself. The actress mentioned that it is a way to protect herself and believes nothing is wrong with it. She said:
"Especially as an artist — I'm not sure about other departments, but as an artist, I think a lot of what you give is what you conserve as well. So conserving is okay. That's your right."
On the work front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Vasan Bala's Jigra, co-starring Vedang Raina. The film failed to make an impact the box office, but Alia's performance received a lot of appreciation. She will be next seen in the high-octane action film, Apha, co-starring Sharvati Wagh. Alia also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love And War in her kitty.
