It seemed that the lovebirds were in Delhi for Sunday. Riddhima also missed Alia Bhatt's other, Soni Razdan and sister, Shaheen Bhatt for their mini get-together. Ranbir and Alia looked cute, posing beside each other as they twinned in black. Riddhima captioned the picture as "Fam Jam -Sunday. Missed @neetu54 @sonirazdan @shaheenb #sundaylunchathome."

On September 15, 2020, Ranbir Kapoor's girlfriend, Alia Bhatt had shared a lovely birthday wish for her future sister-in-law, Riddhima Kapor Sahni. She had posted a lovely hugging picture with her on her Instagram stories. Alongside it, she had written, "Happy birthday my darling @riddhimakapoorsahniofficial. Love you, love you, love you. Wish you a lifetime of joy and happiness." On September 14, 2020, the entire Kapoor clan had gathered together and had celebrated Riddhima's birthday. The star daughter had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a collage of the family night. In the collage, we could see a picture of Riddhima posing with Ranbir Kapoor, and another picture, wherein she was all smiling with her cousins, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor. Alia Bhatt was also present at Riddhima's birthday celebrations.

Earlier, amid the reports of Ranbir and Alia's 2021 wedding, the latter had clarified in an interview with Pinkvilla, and had said, "When will I marry? Why is everyone asking me when I'm going to get married? You know I'm only 27 years old, and I think it's too soon to get married right now." Soon after which, her beau, Ranbir Kapoor, had confirmed that they would have sealed the deal this year if not for the pandemic. In an interview with Rajeev Masand, the actor had retorted, "Well, I think it would have already been sealed if the pandemic had not hit our lives. I don't want to jinx it by saying anything.
