Part 2 of the movie is all set to be released in March 2026, and the excitement is already up among the fans. Among others, it was Akshaye Khanna who stole the limelight. Akshaye played the role of 'Rheman Dakait' in the movie, and by every means, he did an amazing job in his portrayal. Recently, one of the Dhurandhar actors shared his experience working on the movie and said Akshaye Khanna asked him to slap him, though he was hesitant.

Akshaye Khanna's co-star recalls slapping the actor during the shooting of Dhuandhar

During a podcast with Abhishek Pali Talks, Dhurandhar actor Aditya Uppal, who played 'Omar Haider', said he was hesitant at first because Akshaye Khanna was a senior actor and he had to slap him. Speaking further on the matter, Aditya Uppal said that Sanjay Dutt beat Akshaye for the scene, and that, following this, they all needed to beat the actor as well. He mentioned that, while the movie was edited, it was quite long. Aditya shared that when he was first shooting, he lightly slapped Akshaye, prompting the actor to ask him to slap him even harder. Recalling what exactly happened, Aditya shared:

"When I hit him for the first time, obviously I was a little taken aback, I thought of doing it softly. He shouldn’t get hurt for real because it was also a compact space. Van was not even moving, people were just shaking it during the shoot. Aditya sir asked me to go for it. In fact, Akshaye sir told me, ‘Tez se maaro, main gir nahi raha hu (Hit me properly, I am not falling)’. When he said that the second time, then I hit him properly and went all out.”

In the same interview, Aditya Uppal shared that Aditya Dhar is very particular about a few things, and one of them was that whoever is in the scene or has one shot or two should know at least how to use a gun. He mentioned that there were three types of guns in the set, and what he was using was a Glock gun. He also mentioned that Aditya Dhar is very particular that no one wastes any time on the sets, and that a scene is being done with proper preparations. Aditya Uppal could be quoted as saying:

"There were three different types of gun, in which the gun I had was a glock gun. I had to train myself on how to unload the magazine and how to run the glock. So, you need to learn the mechanism. He is very particular about not wasting time when you come on the set, the scene should be done with preparation."
