Bigg Boss 18 is gearing up for its highly-anticipated grand finale, and makers are busy shooting special segments from the event ahead of coming on air for audiences to see. For this grand celebration, Bollywood superstars including Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan were originally expected to grace the show. However, it looks like Akshay will be a no-show tonight, as he reportedly left the sets before shooting his segment with host, Salman Khan.
As per insider reports, Akshay, who was set to promote his upcoming film, Sky Force alongside debutant, Veer Pahariya, left the set of Bigg Boss 18 after its host, Salman Khan failed to arrive on time. While fans were anticipating the reunion of Salman and Akshay, hoping to re-live their fun chemistry in the film, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, the latter decided to leave the sets without any promises of a return.
As reported by the Hindustan Times, Akshay, who is known for his punctuality and strict adherence to schedules, reportedly waited for over an hour for Salman Khan’s arrival, but the latter didn’t show up. The source shared:
“Being as punctual as he is, Akshay turned up on the set for his shoot at the scheduled time, around 2:15 pm. But Salman hadn't come by then. Akshay waited for an hour for Salman to come, but he had a trial screening of Jolly LLB 3 on his schedule. Thus, after waiting for an hour, Akshay returned without even shooting for the show.”
Reports also revealed that the makers of Bigg Boss called Akshay multiple times to persuade him to return and shoot his segment. However, the actor stood firm, stating he had prior commitments and could not compromise on his tight schedule. Adding to this, the Hindustan Times reported that Akshay later spoke to Salman about the matter. The source revealed:
“Akshay and Salman eventually spoke and Akshay told him that he had to leave for a prior commitment. Salman also said that he hopes to have him on the show some other time.”
With Akshay Kumar’s absence, Aamir Khan now remains the only special guest for the Bigg Boss 18 grand finale. The superstar is set to arrive on the show with his son, Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor to promote their upcoming film, Loveyapa. The finale will air tonight at 9:30 PM on JioCinema, and select the season’s winner out of finalists, Vivian Dsena, Avinash Mishra, Karanveer Mehra, Eisha Singh, Rajat Dalal, and Chum Darang. The winner’s prize is expected to be a staggering Rs. 50 lakh.

Even though the final showdown is yet to be aired for audiences, reports from the fan page, Bigg Boss Tak revealed that Eisha Singh has already been evicted from the show, and Chum Darang followed suit. Now, the competition is among the top 4 contestants: Vivian Dsena, Karan Veer Mehra, Rajat Dalal and Avinash Mishra.
