Akshay Kumar Reacts To Vivek's Claim Of Him Going To Bed, Leaving Guests At Dinner Table, 'I Drop..'

Akshay Kumar is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood, whose acting skills never fail to impress us. The actor, adorably hailed as Khiladi Kumar of Bollywood, has been ruling the world of cinema for more than two decades now. Well, his upcoming film, Sky Force, made headlines, which will be released on January 24, 2025. Ahead of that, during the promotional events of the movie, Akshay talked about being a host and reacted to the claims of Vivek Oberoi, who earlier stated that Khiladi Kumar left him and another actor at the dinner table and went to sleep.

Akshay Kumar reacts to Vivek Oberoi's claims of him leaving guests in between dinner and going to sleep

Akshay Kumar recently sat for an interview with ABP News, wherein he said that he is a very good host and drops his guests to their car when they arrive at his home for a party. Reacting to Vivek Oberoi's claims, Akshay said that he never leaves people by themselves. He called himself to be a good host and stated he doesn't usually host parties at his home, but even if he does, it's generally an early-night dinner. Akshay, who is known to follow the rules of ‘early to bed, early to rise’ strictly, can be quoted as saying:

"I am very good host. We usually don’t have parties at home but when we host a party, it’s usually an early dinner. People come over, talk a bit, those who want to drink, they drink and then I see them off.”

Vivek Oberoi said that Akshay left him and Riteish Deshmukh in between the dinner and went to sleep

In a conversation with ABP News, Vivek Oberoi shared that Akshay is so disciplined that, once, they were at his home during a party, and when the clock ticked 9.30 pm, Khiladi Kumar went upstairs. Well, Vivek thought the actor might come back after using the washroom, but he never returned. Vivek said that he kept waiting till 11 pm at night, and then Twinkle came to let them know that Akshay had already gone to bed. In Vivek's words:

"Akshay is so disciplined that one evening, we were having dinner at his place, and as soon as the clock struck 9:30 pm, he went upstairs. We thought he was just going to the washroom, but he never returned. We kept waiting for him until 11 pm, only for his wife, Twinkle Khanna, to come and tell us, ‘You guys should leave now. He’s already gone to sleep!’ That’s how disciplined he is. Hats off to him."

Akshay Kumar's upcoming project

The upcoming movie, Sky Force has already created excitement among the movie buffs. The movie features Akshay in the lead role. Apart from that, it also features Sara Ali Khan, Veer Pahariya, and Nimrat Kaur among others. For the unversed, Sky Force is set in the background of the air strikes between India and Pakistan during the Indo-Pakistani air war of 1965. The movie is said to be made on a budget of Rs. 80 crore, and reportedly, Akshay is the one to take away the highest salary. If the reports are to be followed, Akshay's salary is said to be around Rs. 70, while Sara's fee reportedly is Rs. 5 crore. All eyes are on the debutant, Veer Pahariya, who will play the role of 'Indian Air Force officer' in the movie. Reportedly, his salary for his debut film is around Rs. 50 lakh.
