To this, the actor stated that if the actress has said something like that, then maybe that would be right, and he doesn't know about it. He mentioned that if he has done something wrong by doing a film like Toilet Ek Prem Katha, then whatever the actress stated may be right.

She called herself the biggest fan of Jaya Bachchan and asked her to check the box office figures of the movie, Toilet Ek Prem Katha as she called it a flop film. Prerna further stated that it was one of the biggest films of 2017, and earned a handsome profit, of which she is also proud. She also stated that the title first made her scratch her head, but as a producer, she ran the risk of selecting the name Toilet Ek Prem Katha to give it an edgy and not-so-expected outcome. She also expressed her wish to show Jaya Bachchan the film if the veteran lets her.
