Ravindra Gautam's film, Ajey: The Untold Story Of A Yogi, depicted the life of a young boy, 'Ajay Singh Bisht', from a Himalayan village, who was disciplined and deeply connected to faith and service. The story begins with 'Ajey' running a bus in his hometown, and how local conflicts prompted his father to send him for higher studies. Eventually, the college politics disillusioned him.
'Ajey', who was destined for an incredible journey, became attached to spirituality, and it changed his perspective on life. As a teenager, he left his house and took refuge in Gorakhnath Math, the aashram of Mahant Avaidyanath. Under Mahant Avaidyanath's guidance, 'Ajey', who always felt to had a higher purpose in life, accepted the life of a monk and took the name of 'Yogi Adityanath'.
The second half of the film shows Ajey's life in politics. The biopic revealed his journey from being a monk to someone who stepped into his public life, by helping others, speaking against the injustice, and strong takes against social and political issues, thereby leading him to enter the political field, and being the Member of Parliament from Gorakhpur, and eventually the Chief Minister of UP. In a word, the movie traces the journey of 'Yogi Adityanath's life from the beginning to his rise in the political field, with the traces of the rivalry and controversies, among others.

While the movie's strength lies in its plot and strong beginning, the second half felt a bit rushed, as there had not been enough time for some intense political scenes to develop, making it a weakness in the political biopic. Other than that, the cinematography, visuals, acting, and every aspect have been strong factors, which made it work.
