Aishwarya Sharma and Neil Bhatt have been in the limelight since their appearance on the show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. The actress essayed the role of 'Patraleka', while Neil appeared as 'Virat Chavan'. The couple later appeared on Bigg Boss 17 and won over the audience. However, what started as their on-set romance and turned into a beautiful wedding has now been causing waves online amid alleged divorce rumours. Aishwarya received immense criticism in the past months, and now she has finally broken her silence on the same.
It was on November 17, 2025, when Aishwarya Sharma took to her Instagram handle and shared a long note sharing her side of the story. In an IG story, the actress addressed how people have been making assumptions about her and her life. She shared how people have been calling her a bully and stated:
"People are making their own assumptions about my life, what I've done, and who I am.. without knowing a single fact. Some are even saying 'karma is a bitch'. Before believing any of that, ask the people who actually worked with me. Ask my co-actors. Ask my producers. Ask anyone from my set if I ever bullied, disrespected, or harmed anyone. Not even once. The only thing I did was maintain my professionalism on set."

Further in the note, Aishwarya Sharma reflected on how she has been trolled ever since her engagement to Neil Bhatt. She shared how people commented on the way she looked, smiled and even her face, but no one spoke up for her back then. Aishwarya, who has been keeping her personal life on the down low since the buzz around her and Neil's relationship began, revealed that people have been sharing links to stories that are entirely false with her. She was quoted as saying:
"Ever since I got engaged, I'm the one who has been getting trolled nonstop. And I took it with a smile on my face But nobody talks about that. Nobody says that I am the one being bullied. Why is that invisible to everyone? On top of that, random people keep sending me messages and YouTube links where my name is attached to false stories..that I bullied someone, that I slapped someone, that I misbehaved."

Aishwarya further claimed that whatever the reports have been saying about her has never happened. She added that she only stayed silent because every time she tried to speak, people twisted what she said and used her name for their views. She added that people will do it again. However, her silence doesn't mean she is wrong; it means she chooses not to feed negativity. She added:
"So let me say this clearly: I have NEVER bullied anyone in my life. People spreading lies for profit should really think about their own karma. You talk about mental health... but think before saying anything wrong about someone you don't even know personally. Some people choose to stay quiet, and I'm one of them. But silence doesn't mean you can say whatever you want. I will take my own stand and protect my own dignity."

Aishwarya's husband, Neil, was accused of cheating as he was spotted in Mumbai. In the viral clip, Neil was with a girl, and fans began speculating whether he was cheating on his wife, Aishwarya. However, their eagle-eyed fans confirmed that the girl was the duo's mutual friend. The girl was later identified as Kinjal Dhamecha, who also works in Television. She is known for her role as 'Siddhi Gokarna' in the television serial Bawara Dil. Ever since, Neil has been missing from Aishwarya's feed, and both the actors have refused to address the issue.
