After months of breakup rumours floating in the news circle, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who has kept silent on the buzz for long, shared a heartfelt Instagram post to mark her 18th Anniversary with Abhishek Bachchan. She shared a selfie with her husband and their daughter, Aradhya, where they posed as a happy family for the selfie. The trio was dressed in white in a relaxed and joyful mood that managed to put an end to their separation rumours. 

She captioned the post with a white heart emoticon. For those unaware, the white heart icon symbolises solidarity and pure love. It's a throwback picture that the actress shared earlier in November 2024, but fans were nonetheless delighted to see the post. Netizens quickly shared their reactions to the post and criticised those who shared rumours about the couple's separation. One netizen wrote, "Kaun tha woh jo divorce news spread kar raha tha." Another user wrote, “Lo bhai confirm ho gaya divorce nahi ho raha hai. Sabko panchayat hai baas.”

A few days ago, the couple made headlines after attending a cousin's wedding with their daughter, Aradhya. A video from the wedding surfaced of the internet where the trio were called up on the stage by their family members, and they danced their hearts out at the family function. In the video, Aishwarya was seen giving cues to Abhishek as the couple danced to one of her popular songs, Kajra Re, where the actress starred with Abhishek and her father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan in the film, Bunty and Babli.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have shared the screen space multiple times in their career. They initially worked together in the film, Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke and Kuch Naa Kaho. Still, during the shoot of Muzaffar Ali's Umraao Jaan, Abhishek started to develop feelings for Aishwarya. Around the same time, they were also shooting for Dhoom 2 when they realised their feelings for each other. Consequently, after the bond deepened during Guru's shoot, Abhishek used the fake ring he used in the film to promise Aishwarya in New York. In a private yet grand ceremony, the couple tied the knot on April 20, 2007, and welcomed their daughter, Aradhya, in 2011.
