'Saiyaara's Ahaan Panday Reveals Living In Corridor For 7 Years, Tried First Cigarette At 16

Ahaan Panday is enjoying the fame after making his Bollywood debut with the Mohit Suri-directed, Saiyaara. The young actor is enjoying fame after giving a blockbuster hit, and the newcomer is on cloud nine. He is the nephew of Chunky Panday, who was famous in the 1980s, and the cousin of Ananya Panday. He has appeared many times on the YouTube vlogs of his elder sister, Alanna, and it was here that he shared how he lived in corridors till the age of 14. Ahaan also shared that his sister, Alanna, along with his cousins, Ananya and Rysa Panday, often got him into trouble.

Ahaan Panday reveals staying in corridors till 14, where everyone saw him in towels

Ahaan at the moment reportedly resides in a four-floored home made by his father, Chikki Panday, in Mumbai. It has a game room and separate apartments for the staff. However, there was a time when Ahaan was given a room which was the least likeable in the house. He posted a clip on Alanna & Ivor’s YouTube channel where he spoke about living in the corridors till the age of 14. When he was asked about who was the most pampered person in the Panday household, he shared that he was the 'least pampered' in the full family. Ahaan shared:

"I can’t give you a specific one, but I do know that I was the least pampered. I know that because I lived in a corridor for 7 years of my life. It was a room built in a corridor. It was a corridor first. One side was the exit, and the other side was my dad and Dadi’s bedrooms. I was in the passageway. Everyone would see me in my towel every day.”

In the same clip, Ahaan also recollected that he smoked his first puff when he was barely 15 ot 16. It was his sister, Alanna, who had introduced him to the same. Alanna had earlier also revealed that they used to stay in a joint family, which meant they had to share their space with Chunky, his wife, Bhavana of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, along with their daughters, Ananya and Rysa. Ahaan and Alanna's parents, Chikki and Deanne Panday, with their paternal grandparents, also shared the living space. Maybe this was a reason why Ahaan used to smoke in the bathroom and shared:

"When I was 16, Alanna called me into her bathroom and she made me try my first cigarette,” he said as Alanna got visibly embarrassed. “You can’t say this sh*t, man. He’s lying. I am telling you."

Ahaan further spoke about the different types of cigarettes he had tried, and his sister, Alanna, tried her best not to let him reveal more details related to the same. Ahaan was smart to make his sister feel guilty and share how he was 15 and had underdeveloped lungs but he was given cigarettes by his elder sister. He did make her feel guilty of her actions. However, Ahaan loved the childhood memories he had with his entire family, cousins, who all lived together under one roof. He loved the concept of a joint family setup and revealed that he would never have it in any other way.
