Ahaan Panday is soaring high with the success of his Bollywood debut, Saiyaara. His chemistry next to Aneet Padda in the Mohit Suri-directed film has been crackling. Ahaan's debut has been long delayed and there were rumours doing rounds that he was actually signed by Yash Raj Films under a 3-movie deal. Reportedly, Aditya Chopra had told him to be out of the public eye, focus on his craft, and train hard. Adi was taking a risk with Ahaan, as there were many who wanted to take Ahaan's place. However, do you know that Ananya Panday's cousin, Ahaan, before Saiyaara was all set to debut next to Ajay Devgn in a big-budget superhero movie?

Ahaan Panday was set to make his debut next to Ajay Devgn?

A Redditor has shared that Ahaan was set to debut next to Ajay. The film was to be directed by debutant Shiv Rawail and was to be a part of YRF's 50th anniversary celebrations. The Redditor shared that everyone thought that Aditya wanted Ahaan to fail, as his role would be like Abhishek Bachchan in the Dhoom series. Ajay had said yes to the movie as it was a superhero genre with a villain-centric plot. The post further stated that Ajay then dropped out of the movie as he was told that the film would flop and that Ahaan did not have that much potential.

The viral post also claimed that after the COVID-19 pandemic, Ajay told Aditya that he did not have dates left, as Ajay had not signed the contract for the movie. Aditya did not do anything as he did not want to push further. Ahaan was waiting for a long time, and Aditya tried to figure out a plan that would work best for Ajay and Ahaan. Aditya reportedly had got irritated, but he did understand that the state of nepo kids making their debut was murky.

Ahaan Panday was to make his debut next to Manushi Chillar and not Aneet Padda?

Ahaan's female lead co-star in Ajay Devgn's superhero movie was set to be Manushi Chillar. YRF, as per the viral post, had even tried spilling dating rumours between Ahaan and Manushi to create all the hype. Reportedly, both of them had a fling back in 2018 before she was signed for the movie. However, when Tadap flopped, Yash Raj Films reportedly had to focus on other ventures. YRF reportedly also wanted Khushi Kapoor to make her debut next to Ahaan, but Aditya felt that she was not the perfect fit under their YRF banner, and Dharma was seen to be a better option for Khushi.

Although Ajay and Ahaan's movie had not gone ahead of the pre-production stage. Ajay's projects got disrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic and due to scheduling problems, he stepped down.
