Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan's grandson, Agastya Nanda recently made his acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s teen musical comedy, The Archies. Although he wasn't able to make the audience happy with his acting over there, the star kid didn't stop himself from working further. He is now gearing up to work in the war film, Ikkis, based on the life of the youngest Param Vir Chakra recipient, Arun Khetarpal. Now, as he made an appearance at his sister, Navya Naveli Nanda's podcast, What The Hell Navya!, he made certain unknown revelations from his life, which are simply unmissable.
For the unversed, Agastya Nanda and Navya Naveli Nanda are the kids of Shweta Bachchan and her businessman husband, Nikhil Nanda. Recently, as the actor appeared on Navya Naveli Nanda's podcast, along with his mother, Shweta and grandmother, Jaya Bachchan, he discussed myths about machoness and many more things related to modern men. In one segment of the episode, his sister asked him about his male role models. To this, Agastya smartly answered that he looks up to the men around him, especially his father, Nikhil. He said:
“I see how they express themselves and behave. Mostly it’s your father because that’s the first comparison you make to how you should be as a man.”

Agastya mentioned that he thinks of his father as his role model, as the latter is always the first person in any man's life with whom they compare themselves. However, just like every kid does, Agastya too, likes and dislikes certain things about his father, Nikhil. Expanding this, Agastya revealed how he adjusted his personality accordingly. He added:
“There are things I really like about him and things that I don’t like and feel differently about. So I have adjusted my personality accordingly.”
Afterwards, Navya also asked her brother if young men face pressure to fit into specific physical standards in the industry. With this question, Navya was seemingly pointing towards the physical standard of having abs and bulked-up bodies, to be considered masculine or manly. However, Agastya talked that being a man is an individualistic experience in itself. Thus, he urged everybody not to follow a particular template to make a name for themselves in the industry. Agastya stated:
“As an actor, I can say there is pressure, but as a 22-year-old, no, there isn’t pressure. Each person has a different way of showing who they are from inside. So it’s like finding yourself. I don’t think you should try to be someone else because then you are starting the cycle again and trying to play the image. Find yourself and let whatever feels natural and organic come out.”
