After Fawad Khan And Hania Aamir, Mahira Khan Shared A Post On Pahalgam Attack, Deletes It Later

The eve of April 22, 2025, came smeared in the blood of the innocent as the news of a heinous attack in Pahalgam of Jammu and Kashmir left the entire nation shocked. A total of twenty-six people fell victim to a terrorist attack. While the government has put sanctions on Pakistan for the horrid incident, actors from the neighbouring country have come forward to condemn the attack.

Mahira Khan shared a post on the Pahalgam attack but later deleted it

Twenty-six families lost someone to the cruel attack in Pahalgam, while over 10 were left injured after a brutal terrorist attack. According to the reports, the terrorists asked the victims about their religion before shooting them. While the country has been outraged by the occurrence, Pakistan's actors have also come forward to condemn the act. After Fawad Khan and Hania Amir, actress Mahira Khan also took to her Instagram stories on the night of April 24, 2025, to share a post about the attack. However, the actress deleted the post in the early hours of April 25, 2025. Her post read:

"Violence anywhere in the world, in any shape or form, is an act of mere cowardice. My condolences to all those affected by the attack in Pahalgam.. #pahalgamattack."

Fawad Khan condemns the attack in Pahalgam

Mahira Khan's post came after Pakistani actor, Fawad Khan reacted to the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, that claimed 26 innocent lives. The actor took to his Instagram handle on the night of April 23, 2025, and shared a story to express his sadness over the lives lost in the attack. In his post, he called the attack heinous. He also shared that his thoughts and prayers were with the victims of this horrifying incident. The note was quoted as saying:

"Deeply saddened to hear the news of the heinous attack in Pahalgam. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this horrifying incident, and we pray for strength and healing for their families in this difficult time."

Hania Aamir also condemned the tragic attack

Hania Aamir, on the other hand, shared a post condemning the attack on innocent lives. In her post, she stated that a tragedy anywhere is a tragedy for everyone. She added that her thoughts and prayers are with the people who were affected by the recent events. Her post was quoted as saying:

"Tragedy anywhere is a tragedy for all of us. My heart is with the innocent lives affected by the recent events. In pain, in grief, and in hope—we are one. When innocent lives are lost, the pain is not theirs alone—it belongs to all of us. No matter where we come from, grief speaks the same language. May we choose humanity, always."

The attack occurred in the late afternoon of April 22, 2025, after unidentified gunmen opened fire on innocent civilians in Pahalgam's Baisaran in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the reports, there have been 26 deaths. Security forces rushed to the area of attack after gunshots were heard. Prime Minister Narendra Modi cut short his trip to Dubai and returned to India after being informed of the attack.
