In a recent interview with Lifestyle Asia India, Aditya Roy Kapur revealed why he doesn't talk about his personal life. Talking about the same, the actor stated that he has always maintained silence about his personal life, and he likes it that way only. The actor further added that he doesn't have the need to let people know him personally, which is the reason he keeps things to himself rather than putting things out there. Aditya can be quoted as saying:
"I guess I have always been quiet about my personal life. That’s the way I like it. I’ve never really found the need or the urge or the want to have people know all about me and my personal life. So, maybe that’s why I keep stuff to myself rather than, you know, put it all out there.”

Going further in the interview, Aditya Roy Kapur shared that he doesn't care about what people really think about him as he is not that active on social media. Speaking along the same lines, Aditya added that on Koffee With Karan, he had earlier mentioned that he doesn't read the comments on his social media handles, as he thinks that there are people out there who will like him and some of them will not. Aditya said:
"I’m not as active on social media. During Koffee With Karan, I said stuff about not really reading what people say about me. I don’t think it’s necessary to get into the granular level about what every comment about you is, because at the end of the day, there are going to be people that like you and people that don’t.”
The speculations around Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur's breakup started hitting the headlines after the actress dropped a cryptic note on her IG handle, wherein it was written that whatever is meant for someone will find its way back to them and the things that are left behind often provides people with a lesson. After Ananya posted this quote, netizens started wondering if everything was all right with the actress' personal life.
Later, a report by the Bombay Times revealed that Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur had parted ways, and while they are cordial with each other, there's hurt. A source mentioned that everyone was shocked by Ananya and Aditya's breakup as everything was going smoothly with the couple. The source also added that Ananya had been trying to move on and had been spending time with her furry friend, while Aditya had been trying to handle the situation maturely.

Amid the buzz going around, Orry dropped a video, wherein he was seen asking his friends about what they had lost during the weekend. Moreover, it was Ananya's reply that caught everyone's attention. The actress, on being asked what she had lost, sadly replied that she had lost her soul, and it left people wondering if it was a subtle hint at her breakup.
