Aditya Roy Kapur is one of the most handsome hunks in this industry. Apart from his outstanding acting skills, he is also often praised for his good looks. However, his performance in the films, including Aashiqui 2, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Gumraah, Ok Jaanu, Fitoor, and many more are also worth mentioning. He was last seen in a series, The Night Manager, co-starring Anil Kapoor. Now, he talked about being objectified and how he feels. In addition, he opened up about his career start and shared other anecdotes from his life.
In an interview with the Film Companion, Aditya Roy Kapur was asked if maintaining a well-shaped physique all the while takes a toll on him. To this, Aditya promptly shared that he isn’t always on a diet and likes to eat everything. However, the actor also mentioned how he works towards the physique his on-screen needs when he usually prepares for a role. Afterwards, he was asked if he sometimes feels objectified by his fans. To this, the actor immediately answered, “No objection taken at all.” Further, Aditya shared that this is a part of his job. Thus, he doesn’t take the objectification very seriously.

In the same conversation, while talking more about being objectified by his fans, Aditya recalled how he has faced the same right from the beginning of his career. He opened up about the first time he entered the entertainment industry as a VJ for Channel V. At that time, he shot his first promo shirtless. Elaborating more on this, the actor mentioned that objectification shouldn't be a hurdle since it is a visual medium. He shared:
“I started off as a VJ with Channel V and I was well into being objectified. My first promo introducing VJ Aditya was me taking my shirt off at Agonda Beach in Goa. So that has been happening since the start of my career. I mean it’s a part of it. It’s a visual medium and if one can tick that box then it’s a good thing.”
Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Aditya had opened up about feeling critical about his physique and looks. The actor mentioned that while he may appear fit to his millions of fans, in reality, everyone is concerned whether they are looking fat or this and that. Aditya added that he sometimes has a lot of self-doubt and is very critical of himself. Mentioning how he has days when he does not feel good about himself and considers himself unattractive.

Coming to his personal life, Aditya has been frequently hitting the headlines with his dating rumours with Bollywood actress, Ananya Panday. In another interview with ETimes, Aditya had addressed the same and spoke along the same lines. He revealed if marriage is on the cards for him anytime soon and revealed:
“I think we should let it remain a topic of discussion. As long as it is being discussed it is a good thing. Conjecture is good, let things flow naturally.”
