Adah Sharma garnered huge attention with her stint in the film, The Kerala Story in 2023. It received humongous positive reviews and critical appreciation. Apart from this, she was also hitting the headlines with reports about her purchasing Sushant Singh Rajput's home in Bandra, Mumbai. Now, she reacted to the same. Coming to her professional front, she has also been part of many other films, including Hasee To Phasee, Commando 2, Bypass Road and many others.
For the unversed, Sushant Singh Rajput left the mortal planes after his tragic death by suicide on June 14, 2020. Since then, his Mount Blanc apartment was left vacant until Adah Sharma was spotted outside the late actor's house in 2023. Now, in an interview with Siddharth Kanan, Adah addressed questions about her potential purchase of the property. When asked about the same, the actress said that she prefers to keep her private life being guarded. However, she was overwhelmed when the news of her purchasing the property surfaced on social media. In her words:
“For now, I would just like to say that I live in everyone’s hearts. There is a right time to speak. When I had gone to see the place, I got overwhelmed with the media attention. I am a private person. I love being in the public eye for my movies but I have always been private. I guard my privacy.”

In the same conversation, Adah was also quizzed about the comments that were made on Sushant after the news of his apartment being sold came out. To this, the actress revealed her utmost shock and mentioned that she doesn't support those comments. Moreover, she mentioned how she would like to contribute to preserving everything where Sushant was paid due respect. Adah stated:
"I don’t stand for that. He is an actor who I have great respect for so I would like to put everything where he has his respect.”
Further, explaining her point, Adah mentioned that she doesn't find it acceptable when people comment on someone who is no longer present between us. She clearly stated that it doesn't affect her if people criticise her, and mentioned that in due time, she will announce if she makes any materialistic purchase. Finally, sharing that she lives rent-free in the hearts of her fans, she added:
“I don’t appreciate people making casual comments... I didn’t find it acceptable. I read some comments about him. I mean, you can criticize me, but please refrain from criticizing someone who isn’t here or doesn’t have a voice. I will share details about where I live materially in due time, but right now, I am residing in the hearts of millions of people, rent-free.”

During her initial days in the industry, Adah also faced a fair share of public interferences and tribulations before making it big. In an old interview with Mashable India, Adah spoke about one such incident from her initial professional days. She revealed how, in the early phase of her career, she was advised to get nose surgery. However, Adah mentioned that now, after attaining a certain height in her career, people realised that she needed no more changes and stopped suggesting a nose job.
