The Kerala Story actress, who was looking for a new home in Mumbai, decided to move into late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput's apartment. She made a few changes and has been living there for four months now. Recently, the actress revealed the reactions of people when she decided to move into Sushant Singh Rajput’s house.
Adah Sharma, who came in the spotlight with her film, The Kerala Story, recently shifted into late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput's home. Now, the actress revealed a shocking detail that people warned her against moving into the house. However, she trusted her instincts and went ahead with her decision. She was quoted by Bombay Times as saying:

"I always follow my intuition, not other people's opinions. Many people had tried to scare me away from starting my career with a horror movie (1920), but I did it and scared them instead (smiles). They dissuaded me from being a part of The Kerala Story, too, and the kind of numbers the film made is for all to see."

Last year, Adah Sharma was seen outside the late Sushant Singh Rajput's apartment. Since then, there have been reports on whether she considered buying the house. However, Adah refused to acknowledge any speculation and revealed that she was 'overwhelmed' by the media attention that came across her way due to her visit. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, the actress had stated:
“For now I would just like to say that I live in everyone's hearts. There is a right time to speak. When I had gone to see the place, I got a little overwhelmed with the media attention. I am a private person. I love being in the public eye for my movies, but I have always been private. I guard my privacy.”
For the unversed, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his home on June 14, 2020. Since then, the flat owner wasn't able to find any new tenant for it. Its real estate broker, Rafique Merchant, revealed that the place's owner was an NRI. He could not find a new tenant because people were scared about it. At the same time, initially, its owner refused to rent the place to any Bollywood celebrities. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rafique had mentioned:
“People are scared to move into this flat. When prospective tenants would hear that this is the same apartment where he died, they would not even visit the flat. Nowadays, people are at least visiting the flat as the news of his death has become old. Yet, the deal is not getting finalised.”
