Actor, Govinda Hospitalised, He Visited Dharmendra A Day Before, Health Updates Of Veteran Stars

Bollywood actor, Govinda visited Dharmendra at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on November 11, 2025. Dharmendra was admitted to the hospital due to health issues, reportedly related to pneumonia and breathing problems. Several others of the film fraternity, including Ameesha Patel, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and the stars of his family, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Esha Deol also visited him. As fans await Dharmendra's health update, reports of fellow actor Govinda's hospitalisation have surfaced. Here's what we know so far regarding both Govinda and Dharmendra's conditions.

What happened to Govinda? Why was he admitted to the hospital?

Coolie No. 1 actor, Govinda, was recently admitted to CritiCare Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai. According to PTI, he was hurriedly taken there for medical care on the early morning of November 12, 2025, after losing consciousness and experiencing disorientation at his home the previous night. Govinda was admitted to the emergency ward, and an Indian Today report suggests that he might be having some neurological issues. The media house received the update from Govinda's lawyer, Lalit Bindal.

Govinda, whose full name is Govind Arun Ahuja, underwent several tests and was to receive a neuro consultation soon. His condition is currently reported as stable, and he is under observation while undergoing medical tests. Regarding the veteran star's current condition, India Today quotes Lalit Bindal as saying:

"He [Govinda] was feeling disoriented. All tests are done, and we are now awaiting reports and opinion of neuro consultation. He is stable now."

Govinda's last public appearance before hospitalisation

Before his hospitalisation, Govinda visited his fellow B-town acquaintance, Dharmendra. Just a day before being admitted to the Juhu hospital, Govinda checked in on the Sholay star at South Bombay's Breach Candy Hospital. It was Govinda's last public appearance before his health scare. Videos circulating on social media showed Govinda arriving at and leaving the hospital, appearing visibly emotional. Notably, Govinda drove the car himself. His family and fans had no idea that the man who was fit enough to drive would face disorientation the next day.

Regarding Dharam ji's latest news, he has been reported to be discharged from the hospital and has left for home in an ambulance. Govinda has expressed on numerous occasions that he considers Dharmendra a mentor and guru. The two share a deep bond beyond their professional careers, having worked together in films like Dadagiri (1987), Paap Ko Jalaa Kar Raakh Kar Doonga (1989), Sachai Ki Taqat (1989), Kaun Kare Kurbani (1991), and Zulm Ki Hukumat (1992). Now that both beloved stars are facing health scares, their fans are extremely worried. They have taken to social media to express their concern and pray for the speedy recovery of both stars.
